We had a wonderful stay at the Eco house, the house was as described. It is really well looked after and very clean. The surroundings are so peaceful, yet you’re so close to all you need, great beeches and walks. The sound of the stream and hot tub made the stay even more special. Great hosts!! We would love to return.

We had an excellent stay. All amenities were close by. The house was clean and everything we required was available. The hot tub was lovely. The walk to the beach was fine, but difficult if young kids were with you, or not reasonably fit. We would definitely stay again!

Joy and Tom were absolutely amazing and extremely generous! It’s a perfect place to stay if you want a romantic place to stay with a loved one or a small getaway with a friend, my partner and I absolutely loved it. The coach house is absolutely adorable and the amenities are just as listed. The service was amazing and the area is beautiful. I could not recommend this stay enough. ❤️

Me and the family (5 adults plus 2 dogs!) stopped at this property, & it was perfect! The surroundings are beautiful & peaceful, & the wood fired hot tub really is such a luxury! Pollyanna & her family were friendly & extremely helpful. Communicating instructions prior to arrival, along with being there to welcome us, & on hand for anything needed during our stay. The property itself was spacious & had everything we needed, whilst being located a short drive away from points of interest in the area! Can not recommend this place enough, & would love to return myself one day!

A truly wonderful and peaceful stay. The amenities were excellent—everything you could need to feel right at home. It’s the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle, with acres of open land for long strolls and scenic walks up the hill. There were plenty of board games to keep both kids and adults entertained throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing escape. Pam was a fantastic host—warm, welcoming, and very responsive.

We had the best time at this lovely cottage. Comfy and cosy with everything we needed for our stay. Parking was never an issue, even over the bank holiday weekend. The location cannot be beaten, everything right on your doorstep! Nicky was a fab host, very helpful and communicative with some great recommendations/tips. Thank you so much! Small , private, comfortable and well equipped property. Parking area adjacent. Lovely enclosed gardens so our young dog was safe and able to play with owners own dog. Hosts were delightful, warm and welcoming. Milk, tea, coffee, sugar provided along with a bottle of cider. We loved our stay and hope to return one day.

A private little haven, but close to town to not be a hassle to go to the shops.Dog friendly. Kitchen was well equipped. Will def go back.

I stayed with Mike and Bert for two weeks while a house sale went through, I brought with me my high maintenance Bengal cat Kevin Bacon. During our stay Mike has gone out of his way to accommodate us, the accommodation is completely separate and lockable, I felt completely safe, I knew Kevin was secure and didn’t see any red flags. Mike is laid back and approachable, the perfect host. The bed is extremely comfortable and everything I have needed has been included with no extra costs or limitations. Bert is a very good boy and has been trained properly, he doesn’t go upstairs but he will bring you a shoe each time he sees you as a greeting, Bert was completely safe around Kevin when I took Kevin in the garden. There is easy parking at the accommodation and lots to do in the area, lots of walks, castles, stepping stones over rivers, sand dunes, beaches, horse riding and a decent selection of Pubs. If I ever end up homeless again I will be coming back! Thank you.

An unforgettable stay for a special occasion! We booked this house for my sisters 40th Birthday celebrations and it did not disappoint! About a 20-minute drive from Cardiff which was convenient when venturing out for food and drinks (I would advise pre booking travel as we got stung on return taxis) The check-in was very friendly and informative. The host made sure we had all the details we needed, and the process was smooth and hassle-free. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The accommodation was just as described in the listing with plenty of space and thoughtful touches that made the stay even more special. Everything you could need was provided, including a well-equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, and toiletries. The place had all the essentials, and it was clear the host put a lot of care into making sure everything was available. Hosted my sister’s hen do here and it was perfect! Had all the amenities we needed (is bigger than the photos make it seem) and Kate was very helpful providing flexible check in and out.

Great accommodation, very spacious and comfortable, kitchen has everything you need, beautiful peaceful village, great pubs, butchers, coffee shop/ wine bar right on boor step . We had 3 cars, never struggled for parking. Great for dog walking.

Carol’s place is perfect! Very thoughtfully supplied and carefully designed with guests in mind. The decor is lovely, the furnishings are comfortable and the space is spotless. Carol is communicative, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this property for stay in the area!

We had a lovely stay at Ann’s house. We arrived to a generous welcome packet of essentials and snacks and two lovely bottles of Prosecco. The house is old with lots of character but the facilities are modern and work well. We stayed at the end of April but the pool was heated for us and we used it every day, we were thankful for the hot tub to warm up on the more overcast days! The kitchen is wonderfully stocked with plates and glasses for entertaining and the Aga and bbq worked well. If you have small children I would recommend bringing plastic crockery as there wasn’t much of that. We would definitely look to come back if we are in the area.

amazing place, couldn't ask for a better location, host and facilities

This was our third stay at Lois’s place, albeit the first in the eco house, as opposed to the barn. The house was both comfortable and quirky, qualities we have come to expect from our charming and artistic hosts. Unusual pictures, books, design features - one is entertained at every turn, while the leafy surroundings (the beautiful garden and driveway as well as Redland Green itself) make it all worthwhile. Lois or her husband Paul are always on hand to help you with any questions and have a chat with you at the same time. We heartily recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for something a bit different and off the beaten track yet within walking distance of decent shops, cafés and restaurants.

Our second time at this gorgeous old cottage. Felt at home. So peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful area with fantastic walks and pubs. Would highly recommend if you are looking to get away and want a traditional cottage to relax in.

Had the most wonderful 3 nights in Cow Pen Cottage. Perfect location with a fantastic farm shop (Cobbs) next door selling fabulous top quality local produce to make wonderful breakfasts with. Wendy was so helpful, giving very clear instructions and points of interest to visit. The cottage is quaint & full of character but still has all the mod cons necessary. Wendy gave us a lovely warm welcome with strawberries & prosecco and chocolates by the bed. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were clean and a very welcome addition each day. There were so many attractions within a very short drive and that made Cow Pen Cottage the perfect base to explore Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswolds. We will definately be back some day. Heron's Nest is in a very beautiful location just west of Swindon with great access to Cirencester and surrounding Cotswold villages. Hillary was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. There is a secure back garden, perfect for pets and with a stunning view. There are a few walks around the local fields/property which was perfect for a morning walk with the dog. Very clean and tidy inside. We were surprised to find a smart TV with the usual streaming services. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to explore the Cotswolds.
