My family of 5 had a great stay at Ida’s Dome! We had intended to play in the Idyllwild snow, as that’s typically what we do for New Year’s, but this was an abnormally warm winter, so we ended up hiking in Idyllwild and lounging at the Dome instead. We made use of all of the amenities at the Dome. There’s a great game table in the upstairs loft area that’s perfect for cards, poker, and games. There’s a full library and lots of dvd’s too. Our tween and teen boys loved being in the Dome because it was unique and had a lot of space to spread out. We had great family time, played lots of games, watched movies, and made lots of meals together in the very well appointed kitchen. The market in Idyllwild has a surprisingly vast array of organic produce, gluten free and vegan options, as well as just about any packaged food you could want. As others said, the acoustics are unique. We slept well, but once one person is awake, everyone else wakes up too. Wasn’t a problem for us though!

This place is super awesome! We felt like we was in the movie The Secret Garden for our entire stay.. I definitely recommend this place..A1!!

Home was cozy, with a small patio and private parking. Spent most of the time outside the home, but the time I did spend inside was relaxing. It is around a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by lots of nature. The host left us with a recommendation and coupon to their favorite winery. We decided to take this recommendation and ended up having the most amazing time. We’ll be staying here when we come back to the city.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay, it was quiet, peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. The Airbnb was clean and cozy. We would definitely stay there again.

Exactly what was listed! We came here for Coachella weekend and it was perfect

This place was very well located near the little downtown area, so it was great to walk to get coffee or dinner, etc. The hot tub was awesome and the bed was super comfy. All in all, it was a very cozy comfy cabin.

The Sky Valley resort is amazing, and Todd's place was just what I needed for a month-long stay. Great kitchen, the hot pools were a short walk away, and everyone in the neighborhood was so friendly! I walk a lot and felt right at home. Todd was always responsive. I would stay again any time.

The room is nice and very clean, with a very cute outdoor terrasse with a peaceful view on the water. Perfect spot if you are staying for a festival. I wish there would be bikes (x2) available for the guests staying at the house to use them to go to the festival, because it is still a long walk from the house (doable but long). The host was very nice and reactive, and shared a lot of useful information. It was a very nice stay and comfortable, but still pricy for what you get, but this is due to the festival season. Thanks again Terry and Alex, we had a great time with my sister!

Had a great time . It was clean, quiet, and respectful. Wonderful stay! I recommend, peaceful area with great views . Our hosts were always responsive to any questions. They also gave us clear directions for how to get there and what to do once we arrived.

Aimee's Nest continues to be my favorite Airbnb I have ever stayed in. I've been twice now and can't wait to visit again. There is truly no place more relaxing!

Our mini family came here to visit grandparents in Blythe. We wanted to cook some of our own food rather than stay at a hotel as we are tired of hotel breakfast. The tiny home was so clean, had more space than we thought, the surroundings were so peaceful, and it exceeded our expectations in having the cooking tools we needed. We were also right next to a small playground which my son LOVED. This was an amazing experience and we are so excited to come back again!

Second time staying at this amazing cabin, and it’s officially my favorite in Idyllwild. I’ve stayed at several cabins in the area, but this one stands out in the best way. It has everything you need, with a minimalist aesthetic that still feels cozy, clean, and welcoming. If you're traveling with a dog, this place is perfect—the fenced-in yard gave us peace of mind, and our girls loved roaming around and exploring the pine trees. You can really feel the care and thought that went into designing this space; everything is so intentionally curated, down to the smallest details. It’s just the ideal spot for a small family looking to slow down, relax, and truly be present with each other. Peaceful, quiet, and full of charm—we’ll definitely be back again.

As adorable, if not more, than the listing. I enjoyed being able to bring my dog with me. I felt very safe walking in the neighborhood. Every little detail in design and amenities were so thoughtful and I felt so at home. The hot tub was great, too

A great stay! The place was comfortable, clean, and in a fantastic location—just a short walk to town, which made everything super convenient. I really appreciated that it’s dog-friendly, which made traveling with my pup so much easier. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby, so we never had to go far for a good meal. Would definitely stay here again!

A quiet and peaceful retreat into the forest! Bring your 4wd vehicle it's worth the short off-road drive to get there. Josh & Timmi stayed in touch to make sure I was comfortable and provided guidance on parking when it started to snow. the hot tub, wood burning stove, record player, guitar, air fryer, and heaters in each bedroom were all pluses about the experience. I loved seeing and hearing the birds, especially bluejays. The view from the porch is amazing literally at treetop level. Idyllwild is a quaint little town with friendly people!

The pictures do not do it justice on how the property is, it’s truly beautiful! My boyfriend and I truly enjoyed our stay and my dog enjoyed meeting all the animals. Planning to book again for a longer stay in the future!

1,000 characters isn’t enough to say all the things about Maria & Sergio. Wonderful little home I would absolutely live in! I stayed 9 days waiting for my house to be ready in Morongo Valley and were this spot available for rent while I was shopping, I would have moved in! Maria is an absolute darling, there’s an awesome wrap around yard for my 2 gremlins (mini schnauzers) to run around and play or do their business, a grill outside with patio furniture, big screen TV, I mean, I truly couldn’t have asked for more! All the amenities you need and then some. The location is near to everything you could ever want, easy and close access to I-10, Walmart right down the road, tons of restaurants… I was sad to leave! Oh! Washer and dryer (with detergent & dryer sheets), fridge was stocked with food and drinks, she brought me a box of dates, always responded to messages, clean and nice furniture, flooring and shower. I wish I could give more stars and I 100% recommend this Casita Bonita!!!

I wish I could live in that cabin forever! They have everything you need and It’s exactly what you’d want if your goal is to get away from the city and live in nature. There was nothing better than sitting by that fireplace on a chilly night with a drink. 10/10 would stay again!

Perfect beautiful location, peaceful and quiet. Perfect for a couple. Close proximity to the wineries, comfortable bed. The views of the porch were just beautiful. Veronica was an exceptional host and so accommodating to our travel schedule. This was the most relaxed I’ve been in ages and I would absolutely stay here again.

Marilynn was the sweetest host! And the property was lovely, exactly like it was pictured. It was so cute and cozy. It was a quick uber to Stagecoach which is why we were visiting. We would stay again!

Freewyld was such a wonderful and unexpected find. The photos made the place look great, but being there was even better! There's a beautiful area in the rear of the property with gas grills, super comfortable hammocks, and a little creek that seems to be private to the property. If you manage to rent all three units, I'd imagine that you could host a full-on event here, since it features the amenities of a proper venue. This place also has the coolest guest instruction book I've come across yet, and the hot tub overlooking the rear area and the forest was just lovely, and served as a perfect spot to relax in the afternoon. We definitely plan to return!
