The house was spotless and had more than enough room for our group of 6, including parking for 3 SUVs. The fenced in yard was perfect for our 2 dogs. Jeffery was very responsive and we would definitely stay again if in the area.

Ben & Jen are experienced, excellent hosts and it shows in their attentiveness to their guests and the details of this inviting, clean, organized home. Their communication was friendly and responsive and their follow up actions to any question or concern we had exceeded expectations. We will seek out their properties if returning to the area! This home is near downtown with shops & restaurants - and a scenic sunset spot. Appliances & windows are new. Hot water & furnace worked great! We didn’t get to use the fire pit in back with our schedule but wish we could have. When we needed a scissors or a K-cup coffee-grounds holder, we found both - and in the very first drawers we attempted! Simple, neat, thoughtful! We traveled with our dog for the first time and had a wonderful, no-stress experience at a great value. We appreciated the extra cost to bring a pet being very reasonable. The house didn’t smell of animals either. Thanks for the great stay, Ben & Jen!

We had a wonderful long weekend in this super cozy, extremely clean home where we had everything we needed. The view and sunsets were amazing, and we enjoyed the backyard even though the weather was a little chilly. Check in was easy and Natasha was very responsive. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again!

We have stayed here several times and we love it more with each visit. Mike and Amy have invested in their property and there are new updates with each year. There is newer furniture than what is pictured. The lake is so nice for swimming!!! And having access to all the kayaks, paddle boat, etc makes the stay so much more fun and relaxing. Sitting on the deck listening to the loons and star gazing is the perfect end to the day!

The Lake Cottage was exactly as pictured - clean, nostaglic, modernized amentities and loads of vintage charge. We booked last minute for a New Years Eve hurrah with my husband and two children (ages 3 & 8), and my only regret is not staying longer. We snowboarded, ice-fished, played board games, did puzzles... and simply enjoyed our time together. It was restorative and the cottage is conducive to slowing down and savoring each moment. The property (albiet Winter) was spacious and felt private, tucked down the long(er) drive with a single neighbor in sight. Elizabeth, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful. 10/10, will probably book again!

Pristine, well updated cabin located in a beautifully wooded area. Very clean and clutter free, with a just-like-home feel! I did my evening run to Walgreens which was just 1.1 miles from the cabin’s front door! The roads were great and well lit to be out and about, and the deer were so pretty to see while out exploring :) Saundra was responsive and very kind; you can be sure you’ll enjoy your stay here!

My second stay was just as positive as the first! Shawna is a fantastic host and very responsive with all communication. I highly recommend this location and look forward to my next stay!

It’s in a nice quiet location. Kitchen is fully stocked with silverware plate and cups and plenty of cooking utensils. They had a nice big Coffee pot was much appreciated. TV is connected to about everything you would want. Light switches are labeled and that was quite helpful. The check out instructions were very clear and easy. We were up there for vintage race weekend so outside of that we didn’t do much for activities. Would definitely go back again.
