Bear Cabin sleeps 2 adults comfortably with up to 2 children. One on the twin in the loft and one on the futon in the living area. Please bring bedding for the futon if you plan to use.

Welcome to our home!!! We are a half-mile from great skiing at Beech Mountain Resort which also has snow tubing, snowboarding, downhill and cross country skiing, and ice skating. And that's just winter activities!!! In the summer there are countless hiking trails, fishing, nearby tourist attractions and almost any activity you can think of! A fire pit has been finished and there is kindling and wood available at no cost. There is a separate freezer in the storage room that guests may use.

Beautiful views of sunrises, hump mountain, banner elk, and beech mountain. The kitchen & living area features tall ceilings but *please note* the bathroom and closet ceiling height is shortened to about 6 ft to make room for the loft bedroom above.

Nestle in this guest suite apartment located in the small town of Elk Park. Enjoy sightseeing, hiking, skiing, antique shops & more! Our nest is small so we have a 2 pet limit and they must be pre-approved. There is a $30 pet fee so select “traveling with pets” when booking. The pet fee must be paid at booking to avoid a $150 service fee. No smoking, no partying, no events (see house rules). Parking for one vehicle only, parallel at the entrance gate.
