Just Past mile marker 17.5 and a few yards to the ocean, we offer a 3-night min stay summer 2025. A great spot for people/pets/kid's wanting easy beach access. Our 2019 home sleeps 7 and sits back from the road on a large lot. We provide a huge outdoor showering room, patio with lounge area and picnic table, gas bar-b-q, Wi-fi, DISH and Roku. Close to Jennette’s Pier and Aquarium, Bodie island light house, Manteo and Oregon Inlet, + Premier Shopping Outlets

The Yellow House. Waterfront, kayaks!

Welcome to Colington Island. Located waterfront on the sound but minutes to the oceanfront. This 2 bedroom island cottage was built in 1955 and owned by Johnny Moore, the last living witness of the 1903 Wright Brothers first flight. He was one of 5 that witnessed and assisted the Wright Brothers on December 17, 1903. The cottage is located on Johnny's homestead from the early 1900s. Come stay in a historic cottage on the water with kayaks!
