We absolutely loved staying at Martha's home. It was spacious, clean and surrounded by beauty. Just a short drive into town where you can get great food, coffee and shopping, as well as a short drive to many hikes. We brought our dog, who has a lot of energy and hiked him every day we were there. Martha had a little welcome basket for us when we arrived and was always reachable by phone. The beds and sheets were so comfortable that our friends actually looked up the brand of sheets and bought their own set! If we are ever in need of staying in the Lexington area again, we would stay at Martha's home in a heartbeat.

We have been staying at the Parsonage now for 5 years and it became our favorite place when we visit VA. Anne is a very generous hostess and she continues to upgrade the house and make it even more comfortable! The mountain views are gorgeous anytime of the year! We love her place, the details, the books, the artwork and the view! We hope to be back soon!

This was a fantastic place to stay. I loved that all the rooms had at least a full bed. The kitchen was fully stocked and the views were great. There is literally nothing this host could do to make this place better.

Sunrise Ridge was exactly as described and the amazing mountain views were even better in person! We had a very relaxing weekend - the house was set up perfectly for our family and had areas for us to lounge or play board games. The hot tub was fantastic. The check-in instructions were super helpful since we arrived after dark. We slept like babies - the house was really quiet and had comfortable beds. The host is incredibly thoughtful - little things that you may have forgotten were all there. I would highly recommend Sunrise Ridge and hope to stay here again.

Absolutely charming. Fantastic location for visiting Washington & Lee - right across from the Library Hall Ruins and the sports fields and a 15 minute walk to the heart of campus. A peaceful place to return to at the end of the day - relaxing on the back porch was always perfect. You’ll enjoy this spot.

We had a great stay! The house is amazing and the surroundings are incredible. We all loved the view! I loved cooking in that kitchen, they had everything you could need to cook a good, big family dinner. We had a lot of fun without even needing to really go out and do much.

We stayed at Winston’s Retreat for two nights while visiting friends in Lexington. The space was clean, cozy, and peaceful. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with Starbucks Keurig pods and there was a pitcher of cold, filtered water waiting for us in the fridge. It was easy to connect to the guest Wi-Fi and use the Roku TV, and we appreciated the USB docks on the nightstands for our chargers. We loved sitting out on the private porch overlooking the beautifully landscaped yard. The proximity to downtown was perfect—we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go! The hosts were very kind and welcoming, and we even got to meet their sweet chocolate lab, Winston. We would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area!

What a beautiful hidden gem. The grounds are so beautiful and peaceful you can hear the river running just prefect. The cabin is beautiful and warm and inviting. Lots of windows and very comfortable. The bathroom is huge and the shower is good. The front porch is great for coffee . Definitely worth a return trip. Easy to fine the drive is breathtaking. Enjoy this hidden gem.

This is our third stay at Tamara’s downtown rental, and for good reason. Clean, close to everything, and reasonably priced. Will be back!

Such a beautiful and comfortable home away from home! We loved the convenience to Downtown Lexington, and the home could not have been more perfect! Comfortable, beautifully decorated, and all the extras made it so wonderful. We loved the screened in porch, fire pit, and the views across the street. The host is very responsive and friendly! Highly recommend!!

We stayed at Erin's place while visiting our son and W&L. We were able to easily walk to the campus and all our favorite restaurants. The apartment is charming, comfortable and has everything you could need in the kitchen. We've already booked a return stay!

Demaree's place is wonderful! We loved the yard and the space. You can walk everywhere in downtown Lexington from the house. Can't wait to stay again!

We felt at home the moment we walked in the door. It is a lovely home with everything you need. The beds and couch are so comfortable. The scenery is breathtaking.

Stayed in The Hay Loft with my husband and 3 small children (4,3&1) for 3 weeks while relocating to the area from Texas. We felt right at home and had everything we needed to live a mostly normal life during transition! The home and property are well thought out & are equipped with anything you need. Kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and dishes, plenteous toiletries in the bathroom, towels aplenty, and laundry essentials at your disposal. The host is very responsive, friendly, and helpful when anything out of the ordinary does come up. There can be some road noise at all hours, but it didn’t disrupt any of us ever. Perhaps if you’re a very light sleeper, it might. We would absolutely stay here again and will recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, homey stay in the Lexington area. Takes 5-15 minutes max to drive anywhere in town. And lastly, the sunsets really are beautiful with the hills and mountains on the horizon. Just splendid.
