All Airbnb’s are not alike. We are more of a destination Cottage. If you love nature, like to relax, this is it! Honey Creek is just off the deck with opportunities to see ducks, mink, herons, bald eagles and deer. The scenery changes with the season! We are 1 mile from the quaint village of Reedsville with eateries, shops and taverns... all surrounded by the Amish community. State College is 27 miles. Beautiful flower beds show their vibrant colors along side the tranquility of Honey Creek!

This is the perfect spot to relax and recharge yourself. There are beautiful views of Back Creek from the deck where you can bird watch and hopefully catch sight of one of our local bald eagles. You'll feel right at home with this spacious kitchen that is well stocked. Walking distance to Twin Bridge Camp. NO SMOKING NO PARTIES.

Come and relax, surrounded by nature! Tucked away in the woods just off the Allegrippis trail system, relax on the screened in porch with a cup of coffee and watch the hummingbirds. Ride out to the trails or to the skills park for a day of mountain biking. Quick access to Raystown Lake and all recreation the area has to offer to include fishing, hunting, state parks, caverns, museums and racetrack! Short drive (15min) to lovely and quaint Huntingdon, or 1 hour to State College.

Cozy country charm

My cottage has beautiful views from every side of the house and a relaxing front porch to sit and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. It's a cozy cottage at the foot of the mountain with lots of privacy. There are no neighbors. There are horses here to enjoy watching them graze or feed them a snack. It's truly a nice getaway and still only a half hour from 3 local towns. For warmer weather there is a firepit, picnic table, grill and some nice shaded areas to relax.

There is a nice back porch to relax and see some amazing sunrises. All around a beautiful place to take it easy at this unique and tranquil cottage. Tucked back in the foot hills of Shade Mountain where there are public trails for exploring. At times you may also see some wildlife.

Mom's Cottage

Mom's Cottage sits on the shore of Lake Kay in the shadow of Liberty Mountain. Gettysburg battlefield is ten miles away and two golf courses are nearby. Jacks Mountain Road covered bridge, Michaux State Forest, including the Appalachian Trail, Pine Grove Furnace, and Caledonia SP are nearby. Other local features include Mount St. Mary's, Cunningham Falls SP, and Catoctin Mountain Park. A paddle boat and two kayaks are available.
