My friend and I made a last minute decision to drive north to the Berkshires for some fall foliage action on a Friday night. Needless to say, I didn't do my usual research for accommodations or reading of reviews before requesting our stay here. We were excited to be able to get in!
This place is a remodeled store into an apartment. I think our first reaction would have been different if we didn't arrive late at night, pitch dark, and unable to find directions. We were caught off guard. I would encourage more detailed directions to this place as there is no cell service!
A few small things that took away from a perfect stay: it's advertised as 2 beds with one being a fold out sofa. But the extra blanket was very thin blanket and I wasn't going to ask them at 11pm for an extra. Next day we woke and the Hotspot modem needed a charger as it was almost out of battery. Luckily, I was able to email them to request it before it went out completely (remember, our phone has no reception!). The host was very nice and apologetic about it. And I noticed they didn't charge me for WiFi usage which made up for it (by the way, not a fan of adding WiFi charge in the house rules as most listings include free WiFi).
Wished the leaves were better this year but til next year!
