Gîte 3, The Stables, sleeps 2 people. The gîte is fully furnished and has all modern fixtures and fittings. Poitou-Charente has so much to offer the visitor with so much to see and do and enjoy. Just bring yourself and your suitcase.
The Gîtes at Le Bois de l'Eglise are contained within a tastefully renovated typical Charentais farmhouse complex. Gîte 3 "The Stables" is contemporarily furnished two bedroomed cottage which can comfortably accommodate 2 people.

There is a shared courtyard outside the gîtes with table and chairs and there is access to the owners 1 acre garden with its various seating and eating areas.

Duvets, bed-linen and house towels per person are provided, but guests are requested to bring their own pool/beach towels. Bathrobes and slippers are provided.
The gîtes are cleaned and fresh bed-linen and towels renewed before each occupancy. For longer stays bed linen and towels are changed weekly.
Single beds can be swapped for a double bed but should be reserved at the time of booking. For any rainy days, board games and a selection of DVD films and TV series are available. For cold weather, a starter pack of logs is provided, more wood can be provided at cost.
A basic welcome pack of coffee, tea, milk, French bread and condiments is provided free of charge.
Evening meals can be provided for that special occasion or after a tiring day out and about by arrangement.
For your safety a smoke alarm, fire extinguisher, fire blanket and first aid are in each gîte. There are some low beams and quirky doors in the properties which guests need to be aware of and these will be pointed out on arrival.
The property is situated on a quiet lane with very little passing traffic. The main garden is on the opposite side of lane where barbecue/eating/lounging areas have been laid out.
Secure parking is provided.
We have no facilities for pets.
We have a no smoking rule for all of the properties.
