Wodonga's most central guest house, walking distance to restaurants, shops, hotels, The Cube and Junction Place. Close to Waves, high country cycle trail, Hume Dam and the Murray River. You’ll love my place which is totally refurbished with elegant high ceilings, polished timber floors and an intimate log burning fire. Tastefully decorated in a county French provincial theme. A private alfresco area with an enclosed yard is at the rear of the house.
I live in Wodonga and manage a
Function Centre, where we hold memorable events. The gardens surrounding the venue are beautiful with lots of birds.
I love travelling and my most memorable holiday was a luxury camping safari in Africa.
Such an adventure, with the wildlife. The elephants roaming along the roadways, in the evening there were lion hunts. The photo of myself with the lion in Zambia, every few feet I had to tap the lion with a stick, I was really scared. There were guards patrolling with guns. I wonder if the lion took my arm if they would have used there guns.
The most exciting adventure was in Uganda I went high in the Bwindi National Park tracking mountain Gorilla's. This was the ultimate experience there were a family of 8 gorillas who had a 2 day old baby. A silverback noticed us approaching rushed past and bushed me on the way. Just protecting the baby.
A beautiful memory.
