First, I am sorry to hear your stay was less-than-optimal.
Thank you for your elaborate feedback. We certainly take what our guests say seriously and strive to improve.
However, we were very surprised with some of your remarks. First of all, we tried to stay out of your way so you will have privacy, but we are always very approachable. It would have been better had you contacted us in real time with any problem you had, and we could have resolved it easily.
We definitely try to keep the room (and house) in a neat shape and have the room professionally cleaned before and after each guest so were surprised about your remarks. Of course, there is little we can do after the fact.
The internet we have is the best the Silicon Valley has to offer (we actually have three networks). I work from home often and rely on it, so, again, I'm surprised it was intermittent for you. Again, we could have given you access to a different network had we known there was an issue.
Also, we provide plenty of towels, soaps, shampoos, etc. We try to keep them visible, but also have a stock in the drawers.
As for the bed; I am sorry you hurt your shin every morning. This is the first time anyone has ever complained about it (and we have our parents sleeping on that bed when they visit). Everyone tells us how comfy it is.
Finally, there are two trains leading to the City. The Caltrain (bullet train takes less around 15 minutes to get to the City) and the BART (goes to more locations, but is a bit slower, 20-30 minutes, depending on where in SF you want to go).
