Taking inspiration from years spent living in India, South America and the Middle East, my 18th century lakeside retreat is a newly renovated oasis of calm on the oldest street in Lesa. Everything has been installed recently and inside you'll find fresh, white, high-thread count Italian linens woven locally and a brand new designer Italian kitchen waiting for you.
During your stay in my apartment you will share the street with a 17th century foley, the town hall and a romantic botega.
The fresco of the virgin on the main facade is thought to be a later addition and dates from the early 19th century. It is believed to be the handy work of a local artist famed for his sacred art and other similar examples can be found in the churches of Lesa, Meina and Stresa.
The 90 square meter space can accommodate up to 4 comfortably and one or two more small ones at a push.
Main bedroom: UK double bed (140cm X 190cm) in a room by itself.
Twin room: a UK queen (120cm X 190cm) and a single (90cm X 190cm)
Living room: a single futon-style sofa in the living room that I can supply bedding for on request.
This year we have fitted Hi-speed wifi which is free to guests. There is also a brand new 49 inch ultra HD internet TV with an open Netflix account (no local TV service).

Andere dingen waar je op moet letten
I am also happy to offer mid-rental cleaning and a fridge of food to be waiting for your arrival at cost price. My housekeeper and I will do our best to satisfy any special request you may have so please do not hesitate to ask.

- Inside the apartment is safe for all ages but please take care with children around the balconies (there are no obvious gaps but the building is historic).
- Please be very careful with children and infants around the front an rear balconies and all guests should be careful with the ceiling fans, only operating them at their own risk.
I'm a British TV Director that likes to travel all over and host in my 18th Century apartment on the shores of Lago Maggiore in between Milan and Switzerland. I look for positive inspiration everywhere I go and love the warmth of connection with other genuine Air BnB'ers.
