We had a great stay in the house in San Miguel, a tiny village in a beatiful surroundings. From there we visited the Picos, Ribadesella, Comillas, Santillana del Mar. But really close by there is also a little germ: the romanesque church Santa Maria in Yermo. There are no shops nearby, but a baker comes every morning in San Miguel. We were received by Carmen, the friendly mother of José ( who we didn't meet). She lives in a srteet nearby and only speaks Spanish. If there should be any problemos, we could contact José, or she would contact her Dutch speaking sister or brother-in-law, who lived in a village nearby. But we had no problemos. The house is comfortable with two bathrooms, two bedrooms, an entresol with three more beds, a large kitchen, a small living room and two terraces with a fine view. The basement is a separate apartment, but nobody was there during our stay. Everything you need, is in the house. But note that you must bring your own bath and kitchen towels.
