Castree House at Macaroni Wood provides beautiful and magical low cost, high quality residential accommodation for large groups in the heart of the Cotswolds, just 11 miles from Cirencester and 25 miles from Oxford. 7 bedrooms, all with single beds.
Our space is located in the middle of a beautiful 18 acre wood. It comfortably holds 15 people with a large kitchen/living room, two bathrooms, a laundry room and playroom. There is a large patio, lawn and flower bed area to the rear that is fenced off from the surrounding woodland. Access gates lead to a wheelchair accessible path that follow a circulate route to the dew pond and back to Castree House. The patio has outdoor lighting and there are tables and chairs for eating and a barbecue for groups to use. On the lawn there is a trampoline and swing. Groups are welcome to use the campfire area adjacent to the garden for bonfires.

Andere dingen waar je op moet letten
We do not charge for children under the age of 3 years old. To cover cleaning costs all children over 3 will be charged as full paying guests.
Castree House is a self-catering unit used by groups working with people with disabilities and is part of Noah's Ark Children's Venture, a registered charity and company limited by guarantee.
We offer well-equipped, low cost residential accommodation in a peaceful rural setting that enables groups working with their client groups to achieve their aims and objectives within a safe, secure environment that offers support and understanding to everyone who comes.
Due to the current echonomic climate and cuts to our grants we are looking to rent out the building for private bookings when it is not being used for it's core purpose.
We also have another building at Noah's Ark Children's Venture which has 26 beds and is mostly rented out to groups from the London Borough of Lewisham. There is a good chance that this building will also be booked out during your stay however in our 35 years working as a charity we have never had any issues between groups staying in the buildings.
However because of this you would need to discuss with me prior to booking if you intend on bringing children in your party.
Smoking outside is fine. Sorry but no dogs.
My name is Richard Wilkinson and I am centre manager along with my wife for the Noah's Ark Children's Venture at Macaroni Wood.
I am also chair of goveners for a special needs school in the local village and an avid Leeds United fan for my sins.
