Designed to flexibly accommodate larger families, 2-5 couples, or groups of friends traveling together, the floor plan offers 4 bedrooms, including two king size master suites, a bunk room with its own bathroom and 4 full size beds, and a detached casita with 2 full size beds that is completely secluded from the main house for those wanting a little privacy. The community offers excellent 24 hour security and is considered extremely safe.
Our amazing property manager lives just a few doors away and we can leave you in complete peace and quiet or provide any required amenity including daily maid service, airport transportation, private chef, mariachi band, recommendations for restaurants and activities, and more. Likewise, in the case of any emergencies, help is literally right around the corner.
We do recommend a rental car for guests staying at our property allowing you access to all that Los Cabos has to offer, the ability to pop to the store for groceries, and ease of access to the beautiful beaches below our home. While the drop dead gorgeous views are the highlight of this property, completely panoramic and inspiring, they do result from our "top of the hill" location.

Several private secluded beaches that run all the way down to the One and Only Palmilla. Complete peace and quiet with no vendors and usually no one on the beach at all. El Merkado gourmet food court just outside the entrance to the community. Palmilla, El Chilleno, and Santa Maria Beaches with great snorkeling and public parking are close by.

Property manager lives a few doors away and is available as needed or to arrange any amenity (airport pickup, private chef, maid service). Otherwise the property manager will be available at check in and check out. Daily maid service can be easily arranged. We are if course available to our guests at anytime to ensure a wonderful stay.

Los Cabos is booming with construction everywhere. There is currently a non intrusive single home construction project below the property's casita and lower garden area. Work is conducted strictly between 9-5 Monday - Friday and major works are projected to complete by the end of 2017. While many guests have not seen this as a significant issue we believe it is important to be fully transparent about this with all guests. The possibility of some noise has been reflected in our pricing with similar properties renting for 1 to 2 thousand dollars per night. For guests planning to be out and about during the day (golfing, fishing, sight seeing, etc) this will be a complete non issue. During the weekends it is a non-issue.
Our goal is for guests to leave with amazing memories of Hacienda Del Mar including full use of spaces specifically designed for fun and social interaction. We do, however, have a few house rules to care for our home, community, and guests, and protect all parties in case of any incidents, accidents, or misunderstandings. We also request a signed rental agreement covering some of the key legal points outlined below - again, to further define responsibilities and accountabilities and to protect both you (our guest) and the owner, property manger, and property employees.
We would appreciate our guests being respectful towards neighbors, staff, and other community members and would request outdoor activities to quieten down by 10pm.
Strictly no smoking inside the house or casita, but smoking outside is OK.
No extra guests without prior consent, thank you. Absolutely no unauthorized overnight guests.
Photo ID must match the guest it is a rule from Airbnb.
No parties in excess of agreed guest count.
For energy conservation - No AC with windows open. Pool and spa to be switched off overnight.
Safety - Guests should follow general rules for pool safety and children should be supervised at all times in the pool area and gardens. One of the unique features of the property and the reason for the incredible views is its tiering down a slope which provides a range of unique spaces at different levels including the infinity pool. A range of stairs and spaces need to be navigated safely hence our desire to ensure children are supervised at all times.
Key Legal terms you are agreeing to as "the Guest".
By making this booking you are specifically agreeing that all personal property, furnishings, personal affects and other items brought into the Property (Hacienda Del Mar, Lot 12, Rancho Cerro Colorado) by the Guest (you) or your permitted guests and visitors shall be at the sole risk of the Guest with regard to any theft, damage, destruction or other loss and that the Host (us), our property management, and employees, shall not be responsible or liable for any reason whatsoever.
The Guest (you) also hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Host and their agents, owners, successors, employees and contractors from and against any costs, damages, liabilities, claims, legal fees and other actions for any damages, costs, attorneys fees incurred by the Guest, permitted guests, visitors or agents, representatives or successors of the Guest due to any claims
relating to destruction of property or injury to persons or loss of life sustained by the Guest or family and visitors of the Guest in or about the Property and the Guest expressly agrees to save and hold The Host harmless in all such cases.
Further, the guest hereby waives and releases any claims against The Host, the Property owner and their successors, assigns, employees or representatives, officially or otherwise, for any injuries or death that may be sustained by the Guest and their permitted guests or visitors on or near or adjacent to the Property, including any common facilities, activities or amenities. Guest agrees to use any such facilities or amenities entirely at the Guest’s own initiative, risk and responsibility.
Airbnb does provide liability insurance. We also recommend booking on your credit card to avail of any additional benefits they can provide. And we do finally recommend travel insurance in the case of an unforeseen emergency that requires you to cancel your booking. We do apply a strict cancellation policy and can only offer refunds in the most extenuating of circumstance.
Sorry for all the legalese but it is a significant responsibility to rent your home to others and these terms are required to protect ourselves and our investment.
