The kitchen is large, cosy with a separate pantry, Rayburn stove and a table seating 5. This home is lived in and offers a very comfortable, quiet place to stay with many original features such as flagstone and tiled floors, quirky corners and a small secluded garden.

Interaction with guests: I live in the house most of the time and work from home in a separate office unit so will be around to offer local information. The neighbourhood is residential, very quiet and there is a general store and fish and chip shop on the corner. The house is 5 minutes from the centre of town.
Getting around: there is a good bus service between Taunton and Bristol and Berry's Coaches offer a daily service to Hammersmith.
Castle Cary is the nearest rail station (15 miles) Transfer by taxi is most convenient. Alternatively there is Bristol Temple Meads station. There is a direct bus service between the station and Glastonbury (376) envy 30 minutes.
Additional info: there are times when the whole house is available - please ask! The bathroom is for the exclusive use of guests.
No candles allowed in bedrooms. They may be used in the kitchen but must be put out after use and not left unattended.
I have worked in hospitality and travelled so enjoy meeting new people. I am very happy to meet and talk to guests but also understand that sometimes guests just need a quiet space.
