Kasauli ( originally kussowlie) is a cantonment and town, located Himachal Pradesh. The cantonment was established by the British Raj in 1842 as a Colonial hill station, 65 km from Chandigarh. The town is a health resort, having an elevation of 1,900 metres above sea level.
The cottage is located in Mashobra ( which is less than 3km from Kasauli Cantonment ). On one side of the cottage is Kasauli while on the other side there is a valley full of Pine trees overlooking Himalayan Range.
