Bright and comfortable double room with private bathroom and private lounge in a character cottage. The bedroom has recently been decorated and has a new double bed and mattress. A help yourself buffet breakfast is provided.

An ideal country getaway or a great base for exploring local attractions including Oxford and the Cotswolds.

There is ample parking on the driveway and a large garden.

A buffet style breakfast using good quality produce is provided for you to help yourself; toast usually with homemade conserves, juice, choice of cereals, grapefruit or prunes and tea or freshly ground coffee.

We have another double bedroom available which we can book out for a total of 4 guests. These two bedrooms would share a private bathroom and lounge and will only be booked out to the same party. This is listed separately.

Double bedroom with new bed and mattress and wardrobe hanging space and limited drawer space. Black out blinds and a quiet location help towards getting a good nights sleep.

A lovely lounge for your exclusive use, to sit in the evening and watch Sky TV or make use of the free WiFi.

A large, modern bathroom for your exclusive use. It has a toilet, bath, basin and separate shower. Good quality towels and toiletries are provided for your convenience.

Guests may have light use of the kitchen to make drinks and snacks and help themselves to and eat breakfast. Breakfast can also be enjoyed on the patio.

We are very happy to advise on places to visit in and around Oxford and can make recommendations on different restaurants and places to visit, where to park in Oxford etc.
We have a shy but friendly cat.

Check in time is 4pm- 8pm and check out by 10am, although these times can sometimes be varied by negotiation.

Children are welcomed over the age of 7 but we do not have any facilities for them.

Hairdryer, iron and ironing board available on request.
Use of washing machine and tumble drier. We ask for £5 per load please.

We want our guests to enjoy their stay with us and we ask that our home is treated with respect. Accidents can happen but if anything is damaged or broken during your stay please let us know.

Sarah and Tim were amazing hosts. The communication was easy and fast, which made the arrival effortless. The bus is close to there home so not a problem at all when you want to go in Oxford. The room, lounge and bathroom were super clean and very cosy. The stay was perfect for us to visit Oxford city. The homemade breakfast every morning was delicious. Sarah and Tim are very kind for their guests and we recommend them to anyone who wants to visit that area.

Tim and Sarah have a beautiful home and made us very welcome. The location is ideal for visiting Oxford, Abingdon and the whole area of Wiltshire and Oxfordshire.

The cottage is very well located in the countryside! It's in between Oxford and the Cotswold, ideal to explore both areas. The place is spacious; a private, huge and modern bathroom, a private lounge, a bedroom with a descent size for me and my son (7 years old) and plenty of space to store our belongings and lots of hangers in the wardrobe. Also, we had a lovely breakfast every morning and unlimited milk, teas and coffees throughout the day!!! The garden is enormous for my son to run around and/or just contemplate the outdoor and watching rabbits, deers and pheasants crossing the garden. Sarah and Tim provide a folder which contents full information of each room we had access with and lots of leaflets and maps of the Cotswold and Oxfordshire areas. We truly enjoyed our stay with a very welcoming and friendly couple!!! Highly recommended!

Excellent accommodation in a beautifully renovated home. I wasn't there long enough to actually make the most of the garden or private lounge but the bedroom and bathroom were impeccable and very comfortable. Hosts Sarah and Tim were a pleasure to meet and couldn't have been more accommodating. The location itself is somewhat off the beaten track so don't plan to rely on public transport or Uber/taxis too much but it was perfect for my needs while attending a wedding close by and is an easy drive into Oxford and Abingdon. Highly recommended!

Your hosts are Sarah and Tim Clark. We have lived in our home for just over 20 years. Our children have recently both left home and we enjoy entertaining so Airbnb seemed the perfect opportunity for us. We are happy to give you as much privacy as you chose but are here to chat if you would prefer.
