Newly renovated lower granny apartment in a large family home with a private entrance. Bright, clean and well lit. New furnishings. Spacious bedroom with new double bed. Fully equipped kitchen. Modern bathroom. Laundry facilities. May not be so suitable for people over 6.2ft (188cm). Steps from cafés, restaurants, shops, yoga studios. Two minutes to subway, streetcar and bus. Within a 20-minute walk is the University of Toronto, the Koerner concert hall, the ROM, the AGO and Yorkville.

The apartment is in a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood full of lovely Victorian and Edwardian homes within the downtown area of Toronto. Home to academics, writers, artists, filmmakers and students. Within a few minutes walk you can taste the food from over 20 different countries. A choice of excellent coffee bars all around. The Hot Docs movie theater is two minutes from the apartment with an incredible selection of documentary films every day.

I am originally from London, England but have lived in many places all over the world. I love to travel, experience new things and meet new people. I have been living in Toronto for many years both as a teacher and a film maker. I have a large family and my children have all grown up here. Now I am a grandmother and I travel a little less. I have a passion for healthy living (excluding Häagen-Dazs coffee ice cream...)and grow vegetable and fruits in my garden. I enjoy all the many and varied cultural events that Toronto has to offer. I bike around the city most of the year and hope our bike lane on Bloor remains. I am friendly and enthusiastic and look forward to hosting visitors to Toronto.
