Hip southern-California ranch house on a dairy goat and avocado farm. Comfortable spaces in the guest wing of the house. Quiet neighborhood with the sounds of the farm.
Staying at Oats & Ivy Farm includes a mid-sized bedroom equipped with a queen bed in the guest wing of our 70's built ranch style home. A large, bright living room, dining room and multiple patios are available for you to enjoy a relaxing stay. We provide a breakfast bar with an electric kettle, microwave, small refrigerator and some goodies to prepare yourself breakfast such as fruit, granola, coffee, tea, yogurt, and (on the days that we bake) freshly baked bread. Nobody lives in this wing of the house. We reserve it strictly for our guests. It is entirely possible that you will have the entire wing to yourself. If that is preferred, we may be able to accommodate with enough advanced notice.
We are a working farm and live in the other wing of the house. If you like, you can join us for our farm chores and learn a bit about what we do. Perhaps even milk a goat! Just let us know what you'd like to get out of your stay here.
Toegang voor gasten
In addition to your room and the guest wing of the house, you may access any part of the front and back yards. Find us to be escorted out to the 'farm' areas to see the goats, chickens, ducks, and more.
Interactie met gasten
We are usually on the farm and available to help with anything you need to get settled in. In addition, you can always get in touch with us through the AirBnB App. Let us know if you prefer a more hands-on experience with the animals or would rather enjoy solitude. We are happy to accommodate you either way.

Hi there! My husband and I are two chefs turned farmers. We run a small dairy goat farm where we make goat's milk soap, raise chickens and ducks for farm fresh free range eggs, and bake naturally fermented whole grain breads for the local community. We love the simple life with our animals and more importantly, sharing them with the world. Currently, we have 11 goats, 9 of which are pregnant and due to have their babies in the Spring.
We invite you to experience the simple life with us. Learn to milk a goat, enjoy some of the freshest eggs you'll ever eat. Relax on the patio with a glass of wine and a slice of warm, fresh from the oven homemade sourdough bread. Slow down and enjoy yourself in warm, sunny, southern California.
When you stay in our house, you stay in our home.
