First off there was no smell to mask in the condo and the air fresheners were there just as they are in most people's homes. Once you brought it to our attention that you were uncomfortable with them we responded right away saying we would be more than happy to take them out for you, in witch in return you declined and said " we did not ask you to pick them up" So, why wait to bring it back up as a negative review fully aware of the importance of reviews to a host? Why intentionally hurt us when we immediately offered to address your concern? Then the couch, this was never once brought to our attention and has never been an issue before but we already had plans to update before holidays and will get it done right away.
As for check in, we do our best to accommodate people as they travel, as we know that things come up. Which is why we have a check in at 4 p.m. and extend it to as far as 12 midnight, which is the time you said you would arrive.. And we apologize for what may have ever caused your delay but to arrive after 3 a.m. is out if our control. As for the maintenance and cleanliness of the condo we have a professional company come in behind each check out to clean everything from top to bottom. This has also never been an issue before but we will gladly review and make necessary changes. On the 3rd day of you being there you brought to our attention that you were not happy, we responded right away, apologized that you felt that way and asked if there is anything we can do to please let us know as we want all of our guests to be happy and feel at home, in to which your reply was "if we want to extend our stay what kind of discount can we get". I'm sure I speak for most when we say if you are as disappointed as you were in a place that was so horrible a discount, no matter how much, would make us stay longer. We are again very sorry for the way you felt but did our best to accommodate you in any way possible. As you can see from all of our reviews on both properties we go above and beyond to help people feel at home, safe and comfortable as can be. P.s. as stated above you said our place is not worth it at any price but seems a discount would have made you feel better. A sour contradiction to say the least!
