It's very simple... far from a mis-communication. Arbor House check-in process ask for a review of the guest rules, then followed by guest signature. so it's clear that Cynthia did feel theses rules were important enough to honor.
Guest rules state no smoking, that means no smoking anything especially inside the home although a special accommodate was made outside for cigarettes only. No drugs allow: means no smoking or using drugs leaving residue and joints in the linen.
Not "suitable" for children; also means children cannot be dropped off after the guest checks in. No unregistered guest: means no caravan of people after check-in. No eating meals in room; means no eating in room while leaving behind food soil on bedding. No bare feet; means cover your bare feet. Consuming or taking bottles of alcohol stocked for the convenience of guest... means taking them without leaving payment is thief.
Our pool is 2.3 miles... a car or bike in the suburbs is more suitable than a skateboard for transportation. Bike Trails, jogging paths, Tennis and basketball courts are 20-yards from the door so perhaps a skateboard would do.
Who would have thought that anyone would wish to use a skateboard as a method of transportation for getting around in a suburban environment. A note for the future... ask the host first if a skate board is sufficient for getting around before booking another experience. Regards
