With regards to the booking error, I agreed to offer a 10% discount on the original booking price that you were given on your enquiry, as a late booking, which I then passed on to my management company to deal with. Unfortunately, they reset the pricing in the calendar to their pricing algorithm, which wrongly lowered prices by more than half. Luckily, I noticed the mistake before other guests booked at a bargain basement price for peak Edinburgh Festival period.
When the error had been pointed out, you were gracious enough to accept that this was a genuine mistake and I did give you a further substantial discount on the initially agreed price. My apologies for the confusion however and it should never have happened in the first place.
I will look at adding a manual with guest information for future guests.
With regards to the washing machine, this is rarely used by short stay guests and so is not checked between guests. I can’t think why there should be a problem however, but will check as soon as I am able.
