Located in a quiet residential area less than 2km from the iconic Hastings St and famous Noosa main beach and only a few minutes’ walk from Noosa Junction, The Queenslander will tick all of the boxes for an unforgettable family holiday in Noosa!
Sleeping up to 9 guests, our three bedroom Queenslander style home is the perfect accommodation option for one family or two. We offer two queen bedrooms and a sofa bed (if required) and the third bedroom is set up as a ‘kids' zone’ with 2 sets of bunks + a trundle bed (full size mattress), a TV and DVD player with dozens of children's movies, bean bags, books, toys and dress ups.

'The Queenslander' conveys the charisma associated with the world-wide recognized Queensland architectural signature. Light filled living, indoor and outdoor dining and entertaining areas receive cooling cross breezes. Picture yourself relaxing in the hammock or with a drink on the balcony, watching over the pool set among the majestic palm trees.

Nestled behind Noosa Junction, we love that our holiday home is close to Noosa's 3 waterways; Hastings St main beach, Sunshine Beach surf beach and Noosaville/Noosa River. Less than 1km from our home is Noosa Junction's restaurant/bar and shopping precinct, cinemas, bus terminal and supermarkets. A 15-20 min walk/2 minute drive down Noosa Drive's hill is Hastings St main beach, or a 5 min drive in the opposite direction is Noosaville - Noosa River, restaurant, shops, the Yacht Club and Pirate Playground.

We welcomed our first guests in Dec 2014 and are proud that between now and then more than 250 groups have enjoyed our home, many who've stayed 2 or 3 times! Our home is set up with families in mind and we pride ourselves on providing everything our guests could need to arrive, make themselves at home and have a fabulous Noosa holiday! As The Queenslander is located in a quiet residential area and we have great respect for our neighbours, we do not accept bookings for events including birthday parties, weddings, hens/bucks or other occasions including schoolies. We uphold this rule strictly and guests’ bond will be sacrificed if we have reason to believe that this has been breached.

FEATURES OF OUR PROPERTY

-3 bedrooms (1 upstairs with ensuite and walk in robe and 2 downstairs with built in robes)
- Fully equipped kitchen (brand new kitchen installed late 2018) with new oven, ceramic stove, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine and microwave (plus toaster, blender, sandwich press and much more)
- Indoor and outdoor dining
- Office hub with Wi-Fi
- TV's and DVD player + a selection of DVD's in kids' zone
- Smart TV with Netflix + DVD player in lounge room
- Wireless Bluetooth music player
- Ensuite with shower and hairdryer (upstairs)
- Bathroom including bath with shower above and hairdryer (down stairs)
- Laundry with washing machine, clothes dryer and ironing facilities
- Key less garage with space for 1 car
- All bedrooms and living areas have ceiling fans and all windows and the front screen door have been fitted with Crimsafe style fly screens to allow cooling breezes year round whilst ensuring guests' comfort and peace of mind.

All of our furniture, appliances, decor and linen were purchased brand new when we set up The Queenslander and we are constantly making improvements, upgrades and replacing items to ensure a high standard for our guests!

Outside:
- salt chlorinated, solar heated in-ground pool (7m x 3m x 1.2-1.8m) within fully fenced paved pool area set amongst landscaped tropical garden (Pool, paved pool area and landscaped garden were built when we purchased the house late 2014)
** Solar heating and solar pool blanket allows swimming for approx 9 months of the year, longer if you're brave
- 6 sets of double doors open from the upstairs living areas and main bedroom onto the verandah
- verandah spans three sides of the house, offering shaded dining table, relaxed seating, bar table with great views over the pool and garden and a hammock
- BBQ + outdoor dining

HOUSE RULES
We know you'll have as much fun staying in our Noosa home as we do, and expect that you will treat our home with the same respect you would your own.
To respect our neighbours and allow for the enjoyment of future guests we have the following house rules:
- The Queenslander is located in a quiet residential area. As neighbours are nearby and noise travels easily our home is best suited to families or small groups. Strictly no parties, loud or offensive music, events or additional guests other than those outlined in the booking are permitted. In order to maintain respectful relationships with neighbours we ask that guests move indoors and keep noise to a minimum after 9pm.
- Smoking is not permitted inside the house under any circumstances. Smoking is permitted outdoors but cigarette butts must be extinguished and disposed of in ashtrays/bins, not in the garden
- Well behaved, house trained dogs are welcome at The Queenslander by prior arrangement only. Please make your pet request in your message with your initial enquiry/booking request. A $50 fee applies for bookings with pets.
If your dog will enjoy exhausting his/herself at one of the nearby dog friendly beaches and then lying around in the sun on the verandah for the rest of the day, they are going to love joining you on holiday at The Queenslander. If your dog is a barker, digger or needs a lot of space then please make alternative arrangements, we cannot accommodate dogs who aren’t well trained/behaved.
Whilst dogs are welcome inside guests must bring their dog’s bed as we don’t allow pets on furniture, including couches and beds at any time. There must also be no evidence of dogs (ie fur, sand or doggy do) after your visit.
- POOL – for your safety upon arrival and after each use, guests must check that the pool gate is latched shut/locked and must only swim when the pool blanket is completely removed from the pool (blanket roller is provided). No glasses/bottles are to be taken into the pool area. Plastic glassware is provided.
- Upon check out our expectation is that the house is neat and tidy, looking similar to when you checked in. Thank you.
** PLEASE NOTE: We will uphold these rules strictly and your bond will be sacrificed if we have reason to believe that the rules have been breached **

HOUSE ACCESS
You will have full access to The Queenslander throughout your stay. Our home is set up for you to arrive and enjoy!

GUEST CONTACT/INTERACTION
I will be in close contact with you throughout the enquiry/booking process and can also be contacted during your stay to assist with any enquiries.

We have a house keeper as well as a team of cleaners, gardeners, pool contractors and handymen to assist us with the ongoing cleaning, maintenance and management of our home and to assist if something does go wrong.
*** In the event something is damaged, broken or not as you would expect please contact us immediately via phone or email. We would rather know about it straight away so that we can attempt to rectify the problem, than read about it in a review after your departure ***

CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check in time is after 2pm | Check out time is before 10am
Our cleaners are booked for 10am on the day of your departure. If you require early check-in or late check-out please let us know in advance. We may be able to accommodate you depending on other bookings and our cleaner's availability.

LINEN
For guest convenience all bedding and linen including bath and pool towels is provided.
If required, we can provide extra cleaning or linen services during your stay for an additional cost.

CHILDREN
If you are bringing children we have done our best to ensure they have a fun and safe time in our home! Plastic dinnerware is on hand, plus you will find the following items for your use at no extra cost:
* high chair
* stroller/pram
* Porta cot (please BYO linen)
* stair guard
* pool and beach toys
* night lights to ensure safe night time passage
* Security mesh 'Crimsafe' screens on all downstairs windows and front screen door
* bunks are fitted with 100% absorbent ‘Brolly Sheets’ for your peace of mind and future guests’ comfort

Please also note, the verandah doors can also be closed/locked so that your young child/ren can have access to the house only or house and verandah without access to the stairs or front yard.
The pool area in the front yard is fenced independently of the 1.8m high boundary fence. Side gates from the front yard provides access to the back/side yard where you'll find the double garage, laundry and clothes line.

PETS
** Our home is thoroughly cleaned and well maintained after every stay, and is regularly treated for pests**
As outlined above in house rules, well behaved, house trained dogs are welcome at The Queenslander by prior arrangement only. Please make your pet request in your message with your initial enquiry/booking request. A $50 fee will apply for bookings with pets.

Due to the elevated design of our home noise travels to neighbours' homes very easily. To respect neighbours, we ask that guests move indoors and keep noise levels to a minimum after 9pm.

Our dogs Mollie & Chachi holiday with us and we are happy for you to do bring your well behaved, house trained dog too, provided s/he is not a barker or digger. Pets must be kept off furniture and owners must clean up after dogs, including in gardens.

Nestled in behind Noosa Junction in a quiet residential area, we love that our house is close to Noosa's 3 waterways; Hastings St main beach, Sunshine Beach surf beach and Noosaville/Noosa River.

Less than a 5 min/1km walk from our home you will find Noosa Junction's restaurant and shopping precint, bus terminal and Coles Supermarket.
A 20 min walk or 2 minute drive down Noosa Drive's hill will see you at Hastings St main beach, or in the opposite direction, Noosa's Sunday Farmers' Market.
If you drive 5 mins in the opposite direction you'll discover Noosaville - Noosa River, restaurant, shops, the Yacht Club and Pirate Playground.
All of these destinations are easily accessible via taxi, Uber or bus (terminal at Noosa Junction).
If you've got the time, a trip to the Noosa hinterland is a must. Montville and Maleny are stunning towns. Check out the view looking back towards Noosa in our photo taken from Mt Cooroora

Chad and I met in high school and have been together ever since! We purchased The Queenslander in 2014 so our family could spend time with Chad's parents who moved to the Sunshine Coast 20 years ago. We love everything that Noosa has to offer; Hastings St main beach, Sunshine Beach surf beach, the river, Noosa National Park, the foodie scene and most of all, we love the sunshine! We have 2 young children who share our passion for travel, but as you might have guessed, our favourite place in Australia remains Noosa. We are very happy to share The Queenslander with family, friends and guests, so they too can enjoy a Noosa holiday! Chad is a carpenter, and since purchasing The Queenslander I left my job in real estate and set up ellecor Holiday Home Management, a boutique business specialising in professional short-term property management since 2015. We manage only a small number of properties but manage them like they're our own so be assured if you book The Queenslander or another ellecor property your travel experience will be seamless and hassle free!
