I am born-and-raised East Coaster who now lives in Los Angeles for the last 10 years. I am originally from New Jersey, and worked very hard to lose my accent, but not my sense of humor! I am adventurous and love to travel, because I believe life is built on new experiences. Five things I cannot live without are a tie between my dog (George) and my husband (Patrick), my passport, a good book, spicy food, and access to outside. I don't have a favorite travel destination, because I haven't been everywhere yet. However, I have traveled in the US, Mexico, Europe (Italy, England, Holland, Belgium, and Spain), and parts of Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Hong Kong). Next up, Ireland! Some of my favorite authors are Isabel Allende, John Knowles, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and I am dabbling with Gillian Flynn.. Some of my favorite books are "The House of the Spirits", "The Art of Racing in the Rain", and "She's Come Undone". I try to read non-fiction during the day - articles, self-improvement, home improvement, creative projects, and even recipes. At night, I will read fiction- historical fiction is my favorite and I am open to suggestions! As far as music goes, I like it all but I am particularly drawn to classic rock and folk rock. I also like bluegrass, singer/songwriter stuff, and bluesy jazz. Some of my favorite artists are Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Carole King, Madeleine Peyroux, Lelia Broussard, and Edith Piaf... but I do like contemporary artists too!
