A lovely place to stay if you want to climb in the peaks. Was a nice space for our large group to eat and hang out together. The hosts also have bouldering pads at the property that you can use! Just slightly difficult to find and get in to but the hosts help us with that.

We had a lovely stay, Hannah was fantastic, kept us informed and replied promptly to messages as it was a last minute booking, perfect in every way, the studio was very clean, private, quiet and comfortable in a lovely location, we felt very secure and the on-site parking a real bonus. We would have no hesitation staying again and would recommend! First class thankyou.

Wow, what an absolute GEM! We had a wonderful few days at Lancaster Cottage, we truly felt at home and it was so cozy. We had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. Katie was a brilliant host, her instructions and recommendations were extremely detailed and helpful. She recommended we go to see the bluebells in Clough woods which was a highlight! The outside space and secret garden is magical, I even saw a shooting star. Winster and the local area is lovely, lots of beautiful walks straight from the cottage and a short drive from other Peak District highlights. As a newish driver I was nervous about parking and driving around the villages but we followed Katie’s instructions and it worked out perfectly. We will be back!

I'm not sure what to say that already hasn't. We have just had an absolutely lovely Easter weekend at Michelle and Johns wonderful cottage. The place is thoughtfully decorated throughout and has a very homely feeling to it. Everything was modern and spotlessly clean with thoughtful little touches like dog towels, grocery essentials and soaps. The location is very peaceful but find yourself a mere five minute walk to the centre of Marsden and all it has to offer. Having stayed at many Airbnb rentals, this is without doubt equally one of the best and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone considering staying. We will be returning to Marsden and hope we will be able to stay once again as it ticks all boxes. We didn't have the pleasure of meeting in person but Michelle and John's communication was so quick and could not have been more friendly and helpful.

Josh's comprehensive directions made the cottage easy to find. The cottage is in a lovely location with extensive views and easy access to a range of footpaths including some which went through bluebell-carpeted woods nearby. We enjoyed the peaceful evenings in particular which we spent on the raised deck in the garden. Josh's description of the cottage is accurate, it's is quirky but characterful, comfortable, full of charm and with a relaxed feel. The gardens at the cottage are not enclosed with dog-proof fences - Josh's information was clear this was not the case and that as the cottage is in a sheep-farming area any dogs should be kept on leads when in the garden and of course when being taken for walks. I took long leads for our dogs and tied them off on fixed points so the dogs could roam the gardens without risk of them escaping. Wall in all we had a good time at Josh's cottage and would be happy to return.

We had a wonderful weekend staying at the cottage. The place looks even better than the pictures and is in a great location. Everything was clean and tidy, including the hot tub. Sam was a very helpful and responsive host. We took advantage of the in house massage treatments that were offered which were fantastic. Both Sam and Elian were very professional and did a great job. It would however have been useful to have a few extra towels and simple amenities such as sugar/kitchen towels/milk. However there were other things available such as tea bags and coffee. Also, in case of larger groups staying it's good to be aware that though there are 3 bathrooms there is only 1 shower. Overall we had a lovely weekend and would definitely book again!

We had an amazing stay, Claire's had everything we could possibly need & more! Location was great, a 1 minute walk to the local pub which was really friendly & great for quiz night on a Wednesday! A 20 minute walk into Holmfirth for a choice of lovely coffee shops & places to eat! Plenty of walks & bike rides straight out of the house! Thank you for having us & thank you so much for all the tasty treats!

This was our second stay here. It’s great value for money and has all the basics. Great for family get togethers.

Lovely stay at Steve’s place for local event, Steve was very accommodating with his parking, very friendly and very comfy accommodation The bed is indeed very comfy same as other peoples reviews Great job Steve!

Daniel was very helpful, very quick to respond to questions, went out of his way to assist in a booking issue with Airb&b, accommodation was fantastic, new apartments with very high specification including appliances, would totally recommend

Very beautiful surroundings and cleverly executed indoor swimming pool, sauna and massage rooms! Some minor issues with the heating of the Manners and sounds of the swimmers below however it’s a great little escape! Highly recommend it.

A very comfortable place to stay with a huge TV in the lounge, comfy bed, great shower and nice helpful touches - milk and biscuits are always appreciated. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in a great dispenser in the shower and easy parking on the property. After saying I wanted to go for a walk, Mark helpfully gave me directions to the local reservoir that can be walked around. There is a nice pub opposite this road (a very short walk, just around the corner) and various other places a short drive or longish walk away. I wanted a good walk so for me, walking to the local pizza and separate fish and chip shop was good. I’d forgotten that in this part of the world fish is often fried in beef dripping, delicious! After my walk back to Mark’s place it was nice to have a cup of tea and a couple of sweet biscuits. Mark’s place is in an interesting old building which has been painted and finished inside to a very high standard. Comfortable and perfect for my needs.

An absolute gem of a place. Great location, handy to shops and botanical gardens but on a lovely quiet street. The flat is part of a gorgeous house - quiet and private, has a great patio area looking right out to the beautiful gardens. Inside was sumptuous, extremely comfortable and very well stocked. It felt more like a home than an airbnb. Great communication from the owners so the booking and arrival was so easy. Will definitely be returning.

Meghan's property was lovely, and exactly what we needed. Was nice to be able to sit out in the garden and enjoy the weather when not out and about. Was located in a very quiet location and would definitely stay again if we came back!

Wonderful location and perfect for a few days getaway! Very responsive hosts and a lovely private area to ourselves with a great addition in the fire pit - definitely worth the extra charge. Great advice from the hosts with local information and ideas on where to explore/eat. 10/10 would recommend!

This cabin is a little slice of heaven. Highly recommend the hub tub as made it even more special. zero stress from booking to leaving. Well worth every penny.

Brilliant amenities in the cabin, felt very spacious! Loved the rewilding, enjoyed the woodland walk and watching the trains (not noisy, don’t worry!). We can recommend Belton House, walk between Woolthorpe and Belvoir Castle and Mannakin Hall! Hope to stay here again : )

We have had the most amazing few days in the Damson pod. It was so clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The outdoor space is beautiful and the children loved playing freely in the sectioned off field. They loved saying hello to the alpacas every morning, and Sarah invited us to come and feed them too which my daughter was delighted about! Sarah made us feel really welcome, provided discounts for the local area and put a lovely little welcome pack with biscuits and drinks which was so nice! We had the best time and wish we could have stayed longer!

I stayed here with my partner for their birthday, Ian and Cathy were amazing and decorated our hut for us. They were so friendly and always on hand if we had any questions. The home was clean and well equipped. The views were amazing and so peaceful. We will definitely be returning!!

Thank you so much Steve & Kate, not only are you both exceptionally friendly and welcoming but you have created the most beautiful & peaceful place. We were absolutely blown away that you have built the lodge yourself, the hard work and dedication speaks for itself, as it was perfect. We had lots of plans for our midweek getaway but they changed as we decided to stay local to badgers bottom and check out some local walks with our dog and then back to the lodge to chill, as we found it so quiet and relaxing. Steve gave us some fab recommendations for local walks which were great. You have both thought of everything we may need for a short stay and we will certainly be back!
