Had a fantastic stay at the stables with my work family! Plenty of room for 7 of us. Used the hot tub. Had a stroll around the lake, would be lovely to visit in the summer. Went into Ashby for Sunday roast at a restaurant called 12 which was lovely would recommend. We’ll be back!

Alison is a fantastic host and greeted us at the farm and shown us round and how to use the hot tub and fire etc. Alison has thought of literally everything to make you feel like you are at home and you have everything you need to have a comfortable stay. We are already planning on returning in the summer. Thank you so much

This place is something special, 100% recommend. So peaceful, beautiful and calming. Steve and Julie have out done them selfs with the Shepherd hut and it’s stunning! We will definitely be returning soon and this will now be our place. Thank you both for having us.

Stone Rise Cottage, Belper

The cottage was a perfect location for us. We were going to a wedding in shottle hall which was a short drive from here. Very close to the town, you can walk in about 10 minutes. It is located on a nice quiet street and as parking can be tricky in Belper there is a car park in the church opposite which was perfect. We stayed with our 1 year old and the cottage is well equipped with a high chair and travel cot and kids utensils and bowls and plates. The cottage is lovely and cosy and perfect for a small family. Also we were very grateful to arrive to a gin and tonic!

Badgers Bottom - Luxury Lodge at Mill Barn

We had the most beautiful weekend stay at Badger's Bottom. Stephen was a warm and welcoming host, and you can feel how much love has gone into the lodge. The scenery and nature is simply stunning. We explored the local walks and enjoyed chill time just enjoying the lodge and land. We particularly loved hearing the bird song and watching the ducks enjoy the pond. Thank you for a lovely stay, our dog loved it too, and we'll definitely be back!

This stay was absolutely amazing, so peaceful and Peter was so welcoming and showed us around. The sheep and the alpacas are a very nice touch especially being given food to feed them both. The bbq area was a new experience, we have already decided we will be coming back to here at some point

My husband and I had a lovely stay here with our puppy. the campsite was lovely and included everything you would need such as kettle microwave etc, and the dining area is especially helpful too. The area is lovely and there is 2 pubs within a short walking distance both of which are dog friendly and serve great food we particularly enjoyed the gate inn. The area is beautiful and there is lots to see and do we would love to come back again to this site to see some of the places we didn’t get the chance to go, Thankyou Caroline for a lovely break away and for being a welcoming and accommodating host throughout our stay.

A group of 14 of us stayed here for the weekend and loved the place. Location was great, with it being nice and secluded but easy to get into town for food, pubs and other touristy bits. The location instructions made it very easy to find the place. The Airbnb was well equipped with everything you need. The place is great for large groups and big enough for everyone to have their own space when needed.

We had a wonderful stay at Hulya’s house. Great location if you want to explore Matlock and surrounding walks. The place was perfect for us 5 and the lounge when the sun is shining is amazing with the patio. Fully stocked kitchen and newly fitted bathrooms.

We had a wonderful stay. It was a beautiful home with stunning views. All the home comforts you would need. The beds were super comfy - that comfy we ordered the same mattress for home! The kids really enjoyed the hot tub and the comfy bedrooms. The location was ideal, we took the kids to Gulliver’s Kingdom and Heights of Abraham. Only 5 mins away. Cromford is also beautiful. We definitely hope to stay again - thank you for having us!

Idyllic Farmhouse in the Countryside

We have just returned from a super weekend at Sally’s place. It looks beautiful in the photos but even exceeded the expectations in real life. The surroundings of the house are so tranquil and the setting very relaxing with the interior feeling luxurious and the beds being super comfy. The hot tub was the icing on the cake! Good walks straight from the accommodation and a pub not a long walk away too. This was perfect for our extended family celebrations and I would book it again in a heartbeat!

Really good value for money, we visit Nottingham a lot, so will definitely come back here!! Nice quiet location in The Park, but so walkable and close to everything. Really nice yoga studio next door that I was able to use for a quick workout- thank you! The most comfortable bed too!

absolutely beautiful place, beautiful lodge as well. it was my boyfriend and i’s first weekend away together and we definitely picked the right place!! 45mins out from lincoln city so easily doable in a day and close to local shops as well. overall it was 10/10 and would definitely consider returning

Great cabin- had everything we needed for a lovely few days away. The location was great to explore local areas and lovely walks nearby. We recommend the heights of Abraham and lovely black rocks trail parkrun (if you are here on a Saturday). Host was lovely and very responsive when messaging! Very much enjoyed our time in Crich!

Brilliant amenities in the cabin, felt very spacious! Loved the rewilding, enjoyed the woodland walk and watching the trains (not noisy, don’t worry!). We can recommend Belton House, walk between Woolthorpe and Belvoir Castle and Mannakin Hall! Hope to stay here again : )
