“Arnside promenade offers a host of eclectic gift and card shops, where you can find the perfect souvenir for everyone back home. Ice creams and snacks are freely available. All set against the stunning backdrop of the estuary and surrounding Lakeland fells. Take a walk on the pretty pier where there is also a firework display and a Christmas Tree in the winter months. Each November the Orient Express comes t a halt on the viaduct and a separate firework display takes place, all opposite the window of Bedroom 2, which is directly in line with the viaduct. A stunning display, at no extra cost. You don't even need to brave the cold.”
