Liked the place, worth the money. Had a very pleasant stay. Raul was very helpful all along and so was Wilma.

I visited the place with my friends on bikes. It was a great place to stay. We put our stuff there and went around like locals. The beach is very close by and uncrowded. There were some really good restaurants nearby. The place is affordable and good value for money.

The house was big, like you can see in the photos, somethings were not working completly ok, the water in the kitchen was blocked, sofa in the living is broken, toilet door is not closing. It was quite difficult to reach wilma by phone but Raul was helping even in the distace all the time.anyway they were very kind and raul promess to fix the things are not ok.ILast day wilma was very helpfull calling a taxi becpuse the one we have call didnt come. Thank you!

L'endroit est super! Il est calme et tout à fait lieu et il a tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin pour votre séjour - cuisine et salle de bains, grande terrasse où vous pourrez profiter de la vue et les sons de la jungle, des bouteilles d'eau, même qu'ils avaient mis de sorte que vous pouvez les acheter directement à partir de votre chambre, ne pas avoir à aller au magasin. Raul a été très utile tout le temps, être intéressant de voir comment nous faisons même qu'il n'a pas été personnellement là. Il m'a même contacté au moment où j'ai réservé la chambre, ce qui était vraiment gentil. Et Wilma - sa sœur - est incroyable! Elle a été plus que serviable pendant tout notre séjour - prendre soin de nous, venant spécialement pour nous quand nous avons besoin de quelque chose, nous donner des conseils et nous a même aidé à acheter une carte SIM locale et la recharger. We have a great enjoy for living this appartments. This is a clean and cozy flat with a 2 balconies, in quiet place not far from the beach: the best option for the rest with friends or family. Wijit and her husband is a careful owners: they helps us to get a bike for rent and meet us long before the check in time (really great thanks for that!). When we come India Goa next time we stay here again).

if you are looking for a quite and calm place to stay, without getting annoyed by anyone around, you should go for this place. Not only the place is awesome but the host Wijit is also helpful. Whenever u will go to stay at this place, u will feel as if that is ur second home. And of course it is a value for money.

This is the first time I booked on Airbnb and it was a wonderful experience. The place we felt was amazing for the price. Actually I think its the best you could ask for. Wijit was wonderful and very welcoming to us. She is really friendly and made sure that were well settled in. She gave us a fully equipped kitchen as well which we did not expect. There is a small grocery store right under the apartment so we could get our maggi and eggs. The only problem is that this area has poor internet reception on your mobile phones but hey isn't Goa about getaways? The place is only a few minutes from some well known landmarks like the Colva beach, Martin's corner and also a couple of other good places like the Raj's Pentagon, Art Cafe, Alila Diwa, Fishka to name a few. The Betalbatim beach is just a 10 min walk. The neighbourhood is very quiet. So if you are looking for a getaway from people then this is the right place for you.

It was so nice to stay at wijit's house. It's just like a home away from home and wijit was simple and warmly welcomed us. She is such a nice host and we had a great vacation, many many thanks to wijit and her family....

Kind people and a clean family environment Everyone was very helpful

Four of us stayed at Raul's (URL HIDDEN) was very clean and spacious.Not just that,We got a lot of help from his sister for everything that we required including transport and directions.Closest beach was 5 mins away by bike(15mins by walk).And Martins corner where you can enjoy music,drinks and the atmospehere was just a walk away.The house is located in an inner road which makes it very peaceful to stay at.thanks so much Raul for all your help.I am definitely coming back for more.

Raul's place was amazing, it was super clean and well maintained and had perfect bed and other amenities. Raul's sister Wilma was super welcoming and helpful - would recommend everybody to stay here. The only drawback is that it's a bit hard to find the place without directions, the landmark "Golden Sands Apartment" should be added in the description probably. Rest everything was super nice.

Well, last month I was searching a good place within my budget for 2 days stay at Colva/betalbatim, and I found this one .. checked some quick reviews and booked with no doubts! Believe me I got what I wanted! The house is in such a nice place, It's quiet, peaceful location and a lovely house. You may find difficulties for route/location, so better keep in touch with owner or use his refereed taxi/autos. Use private/rental vehicles to visit other places from here or otherwise you'll not get any public transport easily from here. Hosts are very co-operative, helpful and lovely people like their house. :) Apartment has enough space to accommodate 3/4 people easily. It's well furnished and well maintained. I will visit here surely when I will go South Goa again.

Raul n'a pas pu être présent pendant notre séjour, alors ce sont sa soeur Wilma et sa maman Juanita qui se sont occupées de nous. Ce séjour était pour nous un moment de détente et de partage. Nous sommes un couple qui voulait également du calme : c'est ce que nous avons retrouvé dans ce quartier. Quelle vue magnifique sur la jungle depuis notre balcon! Il s'avère que ce logement est situé non loin de résidences touristiques et c'est sûr que niveau prix ce logement défie toute concurrence. L'endroit est un peu à l'écart des grandes villes donc des vélos nous ont été mis à disposition pour aller à la plage ou au supermarché. Nous recommandons cet appartement pour les amateurs de tranquillité...comme à la maison!

We had a lovely stay at Rauls place. We didn't actually meet Raul but had contact with his sister instead. However, Raul communicated with us before, throughout and after our trip and was on hand if we needed anything. The apartment is as described, very quiet and peaceful spot perfect for relaxing, close to the famous Martin's Corner restaurant which serves great food and around a 25 min walk to the beach or a 10 mins bike ride (100rps per day to hire from Raul). Rauls sister helped us with a taxi day tour of Goa which was very helpful and fun day. Overall a good stay.

Nice place to stay. Room is very spacious. Raul was in touch and the Manager Wilma was kind and rechable anytime time for help. Enjoyed the stay and will definitely come back. I'll recommend this place if you like to stay away from the crowd as its atleast 2-3 mins from the main road but its safe for sure.

Great place. Hidden away from the main road so it's nice and quiet (although it makes it a little difficult to find, just take a map or use (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)map) Aggie is a great host, gave us very useful information on where to go in Goa and made us feel very welcome. The nearest shop is roughly 15 min walk, nearest restaurant 20 min. The place is pretty hidden away so you will have to walk a bit to find a taxi. You can buy big bottles of water from the assistants and order food using the phone at reception. The best part is the pool and the breakfast (which you can order as an extra for a very reasonable price and have the apartment assistants come and cook for you in the morning!) . All in all, a great place, cant recommend enough!

I stayed at Lianne's place for my first trip in India and I can't emphasize enough how helpful she was through the whole process. Without me asking, she offered help on getting to and from the airport, advice on what to see in Goa, and even had some food ready for me after my long flights. The apartment itself was clean and I had plenty of room. Lianne is kind, friendly, and helpful to a fault. I enjoyed my time at her house and look forward to coming back! All in all, this is a great place to stay in Goa!

Leanne made our stay in Goa amazing. She was so accomodating and really made us feel at home. The place is super nice, in a quiet area and a 5 min bike ride to the beach. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in this area

Wow !!! That's how was our experience. What a chic house, it does make you feel pampered. It's a home away from home... She's an excellent host... We were flabbergasted with those tiny messages, as if she just know what will be our next question... Very well located... with greenery around and good beaches close by... The house is kept well equipped with everything you need, and in a great style ... We were with our children and after being in North Goa for some days amidst happening club joints... This place was loved by all of us to relax and rejuvenate.. and a perfect place to end our trip... Not to forget the wi-fi and oh ! the foot massager...we were literally queuing up for the massager.. Highly recommended property... Thanks Lianne... And this will certainly be a sure shot place in our itinerary whenever we visit Goa again.. and would recommend everyone for the same !!!

I guess I had rather high expectations of this apartment, based on the Airbnb photos and reviews. And it seemed promising at first - tucked away in a residential bylane, surrounded by trees, promisingly designed (even if a bit flashy) with a large master bedroom and huge living, dining and kitchen spaces. Lianne was prompt and helpful in her communication. My plan was to consider staying there for a month, with a friend or by myself, but we quickly realized that the apartment wasn't suited for that. The floors were quite dusty when we arrived and the living room needed airing out - and Lianne wasn't sure when she could get the apartment cleaned (didn't happen during our 3 nights stay). Then little things like no bath mat when stepping out of the shower (so the floor always got quite wet), something in the fridge smelled bad but it was packed in reusable plastic boxes so I wasn't sure whether to throw it away. The door lock to the bedroom door needed fixing, so one day when it shut with the wind, we got locked out! We tried calling Lianne several times for a spare key (finally managed to reach her over email only to learn that she doesn't have a spare key!) but luckily the neighbor had a key to the rooftop so we managed to climb back in from the balcony; phew. Point is - I've stayed in many self-catering Airbnbs and when there's no host, the apartment needs to be better equipped for arriving guests - cleaned thoroughly, with instructions on what works and what doesn't, suggestions on useful services around and what to do in an emergency. Lianne was certainly helpful when we contacted her about questions on the neighborhood, though we realized her taxi guy was overcharging us compared to other taxis we took later. Anyway, we decided to leave after 3 nights instead of staying a whole month, also because there aren't really any good eating options in the neighborhood. Overall, it'd be okay for a short stay if cleaned well, but not a place to stay long term.

We were planning for a totally relaxed holiday and there could not have been a better place to stay at than Lianne's apartment! The apartment is situated in the midst of a lot of greenery..and the beautiful view can be seen from the number of balconies in it. It is beautifully decorated.. the couch & book shelf in the huge hall, the kitchen.. you have every equipment you can think of.. the room.. everything is tastefully done! Lianne was a very warm host! We actually arrived during the middle of the night and she was not only kind enough to have us there but ensured that we had everything we would require. She helped us out with the local cab service to ensure we get there safely! We had a little trouble with hot water availablity but Lianne went out of her way to make it available for us. She also suggested some of the places we could visit during our stay. Lianne, we absolutely loved your apartment! We felt so much at home! You have not only been a good host but also a friend!! Wow ! This is the place everyone should choose to stay when in Goa. Parisienne Chic comes to mind with this apartment . If you want a heaven away from the maddening crowd this is the place to recharge your batteries.I would suggest hiring a bike or car even though everything is walking distance. Sunset beach is a 2 min bike ride . The famous Colva beach is ten mins away. Lots of good restaurants are walking distance.The apartment is beautiful inside. Unlike most residences, this home is actually far better in reality than in the pictures. The kitchen is like the ones you see on TV shows, fully equipped and well organized. Everything has been hand picked from all over the world personally by Lianne. She is such an amazing soul. Im totally in love with her hosting style. Shes helpful, kind and has a wicked sense of humor. Shes like a walking encyclopaedia on Goa. Everything from what to see and where to go and what to eat. She knows it all and ensures her guests are comfortable.

This is really beautiful, spacious and feels like home. The interiors were chic and well maintained . It exactly looks the same way as it was seen in photos. Lianne really takes care of her hosts and provides valuable tips, suggestions on nearby places . One of the very good things about her is that she constantly keeps in touch checking for things to make your holiday special (places to go, places to eat specially matters as we are vegetarians). We had a chance to meet her before we left Goa and we would love to be back to Goa to stay in this place. We will also recommend this place to all our friends. We arrived early before the actual check in time and she was very co-operative to accommodate us . The property surroundings were quite safe and calm . She arranged for a driver pick up and drop for airport who was quite nice and well spoken . The scooters and cars are easily available for rent nearby which can be used to visit some nearby beaches (south Goa has beautiful beaches - sunset beach being one of them).

When we viewed the photographs on air bnb and read reviews and description of apartment we were happy to book. Reality was very different. Not clean, mould, musty, scale around all of bath, sofa covering stained and grubby, bed linen old and musty, very uninviting.

Raul's place is an excellent getaway for all South Goa travellers. The apartment is very close to peaceful and serene beaches and even the happening places such as Colva and Margao are on a few minutes of ride. The apartment consists of all kinds of modern amenities. There was no wi-fi, but when we told Raul that we are there for some work, he even arranged internet for us. Raul's sister Wilma and his mother are also very attentive to guest's needs and gets u anything that you ask within no time. I really liked the place.

About Host: Raul was really helpful, right from the time i booked this place. He is out of India for work but always responds back on any query or request that you'd make on message. His sister Wilma and his mother look after this property. His mother stays on ground floor. On one night we went to Baga and stayed over in Baga, unfortunately we forgot to inform the same to Wilma or her mother, her mother got really worried for us as she couldn't find our vehicle parked even in the morning. They looked after us throughout at the same time made sure that they don't disturb us. Our stay was till 12 noon but when we informed that our train is of 6pm Wilma and Raul allowed us to stay till 5pm, infact Wilma even offered to extend our stay by a day when we told that somehow our tickets are yet not confirmed (well fortunately they got confirmed later on). It was my first time using AirBnb and it was an amazing experience. Raul's family were the perfect hosts for us. About Property: It's located in Betalbatim, just give a call when you take a cab/rick from Station or bus stand and Wilma will guide your driver. It's a two storey house. With two rooms on each floor. Each one has kitchen, separate balcony and specious bathroom. Rooms are specious and clean, has a bed, wardrobe, sofa, two chairs, small table, tv with cable connection, air-conditioning and two ceiling fans. Kitchen has induction cooker, electric kettle, fridge and all the utensils needed. Bathroom is equipped with water geyser, shower, bathtub washbasin. Bathrooms were very clean. They provide bath towels and napkins, you can ask them whenever you want new ones. Sunset beach is about 5min by drive and 15 mins by walk. There are couple of restaurants nearby. Martins corner being the most happening one. Little ahead of Martin's corner there are few more restaurants. We went to "Fish Ka Restaurant" a couple of times and they were quick in service and were really warm and welcoming. There was candlelight dinner on Saturday night. Food here is amazing. Nearby sunset beach was almost like a private beach, with not more than 10 people on beach whenever we went there. It was the cleanest beach. There is only one shack in there, Rita is Manager/owner of the same, she was really warm and welcoming. Overall the stay was worth it and i can't thank Raul enough for making it so memorable. I am already missing Betalbatim.

We stayed 4 nights in Raul home. Our stay was too good, really enjoy. Appartment was so cozy and surrounding area lush of greenery. We didn't meet to Raul but her sister Wilma assist us and Raul was be contine in touch by wtsaap. House had a kitchen also we enjoyed cooking. Balcony seen was too lovely, we sitted there and enjoyed the outside greenery and birds sounds. I really recommend this place and will want to stay again when will visi the Goa.

Abbiamo apprezzato molto il nostro soggiorno in questo appartamento! I padroni di casa erano molto attento a tutti i nostri desideri e hanno fatto del loro meglio per rendere le nostre vacanze perfetto!) Al nostro primo giorno siamo stati accolti da un autista di taxi all'aeroporto e portato alla nostra destinazione. Poiché non avevamo valuta locale in quel momento, la signora Wilma, la sorella di Raul, pagato per noi e non abbiamo avuto alcun problema con questo. Gli appartamenti sono situati in un luogo piacevole e tranquillo, circondato da cocco palme e bambù. A prima vista può sembrare che ci sia una lunga distanza dalla spiaggia - ci vorranno circa 10-15 minuti. Ma sulla strada per la spiaggia sarà prego con un bel paesaggio - campi di riso e palme foresta. Non ci sono molti turisti in questa parte del paese. Quindi, se siete stanchi di folle di persone e il rumore della città - qui è il posto ideale)

It was a Pleasant Stay. Recommendable for Family Visitors and Bachelors too. There is a Barbeque area for Partying which was a good memorable time for us as we enjoyed grilling. Host Vipin was Very Helpful. Hope the swimming pool construction gets completed before our june visit to this place.

Brain is an excellent host, he took excellent care in every step, right from booking phase. He is also very amicable and tries all he could to make your stay worth it. Petit Maison Encore Homes is a wonderful place just outside the busy towncentre of Colva. Walking to the beach only takes about half an hour. The house is located in a very quiet and secluded neighbourhood amidst a lush green scenery. It's very peaceful and quiet and the apartment was very spacious and clean. Brian is a wonderful host who gave lots of advice about the town and places to visit or avoid. Shooba, the housekeeper, is a very helpful and kind woman. Staying at Petit Maison Encore Homes made our stay at Colva a delight. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting to experience the busy atmosphere of South-Goa while having a place to come back to and relax!

Brian has a comfortable home in a quiet residential area. There are dogs on the walk towards the house for those who might like to know. Colva beach is a rickshaw ride away so plan ahead for meals and transport. Shoba, the maid and her husband were very helpful with arranging reasonably priced transport for us. Shops at the end of the road are stocked with plenty of groceries too.

This is a lovely house surrounded by greenery and just 2 Kms from the beach. The house had all modern amenities yet an old school charm that made our stay very pleasant and comfortable. Brian was very supportive, he allowed us to check in early and proactively helped us with the logistics of the trip like renting a bike, places to visit etc. Shobha, the house help too was around whenever needed and was quite helpful. Would recommend this place wholeheartedly to anyone planning to visit Colva.

The place is exactly as it was described. It was clean, well maintained and had a lovely poolside view. The pool too was very clean and well maintained, and you can't resist yourself from diving in. To top it, Colva beach was just 2 mins walk & you can find many restaurants serving good delicacies nearby too. We loved the place so much that we would visit it again for our next trip! :)

Location - perfect. Walking distance from colva beach. And easily accessible to and from almost all the nicest beaches and places in south goa! Though we met Rashmi, our host, towards the end of our trip, but she was really helpful and just a call away right from checking in till checking out. The apartment itself is extremely clean and well maintained and equipped with all the basic amenities. The society also has a nice pool. Thanks Rashmi! Looking forward to staying at your other properties as well.

Excellent property. Very well equipped. Clean. We took our 7 month old child and before going, had spoken to Rashmi about the kitchen utensils. It was as described. Well maintained kitchen. Although would recommend to carry stuff taht you need with you from the shops nearby. Fridge, induction, ac , water heater,tv all in working condition. 3 balconys, huge hall, nice bedroom. Practically the entire house including kitchen have A/C. The host Rashmi is very kind. One small suggestion, as there is a swimming pool right in front of the apartment,if the balcony and the main door could have mosquito net doors, it would be more comfortable.

Very sunny, spacious place close to beach area, yet far enough for peace and quiet. Rashmi was an excellent host, and was very helpful durring my stay.

Rashmis place exactly whats described in the details. We stayed there for two nights without any fuss. Location is absolutely peaceful with lots of nice restaurants nearby and beach is within few mins walk. Flat is absolutely clean as described and equipped with TV ACs and kitchen utensils as per expectations. Dont expect like any hotel like living experience, instead its typical Indian style homely apartment. We didn't get any chance to jump into the pool but it looked really nice from the balcony

This is a nice 1 bedroom stay close to the beach but a bit away from the hubbub. The property is well-maintained with a lovely pool. Overall good value for money.

Staying at Rashmi's place was really good experience. Apartment is closed to market, colva beach and veg or non veg restaurant.

It was a very pleasant experience to stay at Mr.Stanley 's place. The room was well equipped with all amenities. The location was also awesome. It was near to Benulium beach. Above all we had a very pleasant experience of South Goa. The host Mr.Stanley was very co-operative.

It's a short taxi ride from the airport to batalabetim costing somewhere between 600~900 rupees depending on your negotiating skills. I was met on the way by Denny who is the maintenance guy/ host/all round good guy who escorted the taxi to the apartment which is am happy to say is exactly as shown in the photos. The apartment was cool, clean, very quiet and reasonably equipped for cooking,.not that I cooked for myself as right around the corner there's the New Town bar restaurant where the food is cheap and best, alternatively I'd take the short walk along the paddy fields to what is possibly the most beautiful, uncrowded, idyllic beach that I've ever seen, where there are shaks that sell some amazing fresh fish and cheap beers. All in all I found the whole experience just perfect, so much so that I'm already planning my next trip to Betalbetim because it was so perfect!

ma femme et moi avons séjourné à l'atelier de vikram du 14 au 18 octobre, 2014. nous avons trouvé l'endroit très soigné et propre quand nous sommes arrivés et Carlos était là pour nous accueillir. est un endroit très calme, très proche de Betalbatim panchayat, assez facile à localiser. l'épicerie et location de vélo / voiture sont juste autour du coin de sorte que vous ne devrez pas vous soucier de l'approvisionnement quotidien etc. VIKRAM (même si était à l'étranger quand nous sommes arrivés) a été très réactif dès le moment où je l'ai contacté, et effacé tous mes doutes quant à l'endroit etc rapidement. toutes les commodités comme A / C, lave-linge, réfrigérateur, geyser, etc de gaz sont parfaitement travail. malabai et carlos viennent une fois par jour et prennent soin de tout ce dont vous avez besoin. cet endroit est exactement comme il regarde dans l'image. le lit est particulièrement très confortable, salle de bains était très propre et bien entretenu. Globalement, un endroit très relaxant et agréable de rester au point positif est la plage Betalbatim .... qui est à seulement 10 minutes à pied de la propriété. serait certainement rester ici encore si im dans goa nouveau(URL HIDDEN)

Min vistelse på Vikram träffade mer än Mina förväntningar. Mycket bekvämt hem, rymliga, bort från buller och nära till naturen. Den. Care taker (Carlos) var en stor värd. Kommer definitivt att gå tillbaka till sitt hem igen om jag går tillbaka till Goa.

Jag hade en mycket trevlig vistelse på Vikram lägenhet. Det är väl utrustad, belägen i en lugn del av Goa, i en verklig Bandra by. Den fredliga tomma stranden ligger bara 10 minuter bort. Denny var mycket hjälpsamma och som en prisvärd transport till flygplatsen. Tack, Vikram gång! natalia

Vikram war ein toller Gastgeber. Er hat uns alle notwendigen Kontaktinformationen und beantwortet sofort Vorfragen. Denny, seine Ansprechpartner vor Ort, traf uns am panchayat Büro ohne Probleme. Hinzu kommt, dass, er war sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit, ein Fahrrad und Taxis zu arrangieren. Die Wohnung ist groß. Sehr sauber und sehr komfortabel. Die Lage ist toll (ein paar Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand) und mit einem Roller alles ist leicht zugänglich. Ich würde auf jeden Fall das Hotel empfehlen und freuen uns darauf, irgendwann zurück.

Everything was as discribed, first class accommodation, could not ask for more. The care taker Deny could not have been more helpful, if one needed any help with anything he was there, a mine of information.
