The cabin is a light comfortable carefully designed and newly built Scandanavian style self-contained building with a complete kitchen, separate shower room and pull down Very comfortable Queen sized bed. It has a television with integral DvD player and heating under the wooden floor. Great Wi-fi, Contemporary lighting. Please note that hot water runs for 5mins very hot then takes 30 mins to reheat to same temp. Please don't change the settings as this will blow the thermostat.
The cabin is in my garden, with parking and just one minute fom the quay And it’s own private patio.. It is central to the shops and restaurants and bars in lovely Wells. Twenty minutes walk to the beach. I make sure that essentials like tea and coffee are available. The bed is made up and there are lots of towels. Shampoo, shower gel and washing up liquid are also ready to go! The kitchen is well equipped for two guests.
Wells is lovely. The sea when the tide is up. Early mornings, the beach. The super independent shops, the pubs, cafes and delis. The ease of living in a small town with a bank, post office and friendly neighbours!

  • We hielden van ons weekend in de cabine. De locatie is geweldig. Het is gezellig, zeer stijlvol en goed uitgerust en het bed is supercomfortabel. Er is ook goede wifi en een heerlijke douche en hoewel we Kate niet hebben ontmoet, reageerde ze snel op berichten en bood ze indien nodig hulp. We hebben al een tweede reis geboekt, wat kan ik nog meer zeggen?

    Pretty, very light and spacious living areas with a lovely, totally private, enclosed south- facing garden and outside dining area with table, chairs and BBQ. Traditional, cosy cottage decor with plenty of homely touches and a mix of antique, vintage and modern furniture and fabrics plus a driftwood floor in the living room / dining area.Fully equipped kitchen with oven, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Travel cot (no bedding), stair gate and high chair. Wifi included. Wood-burning stove for the colder months. Some wood provided, more available at cost. Oil-fired central heating. Active local pub (Jolly Farmers a 2 minute walk), and half a mile from Creake Abbey which has a really good restaurant/café, great outside space with toys and little tractors and an award-winning farmers' market plus many other events throughout the year. Burnham Market is 2 miles away, with its famous hat shop and much else to offer for a wander round. Fabulous beaches at Wells, Holkham, Burnham Overy Staithe, Titchwell, Brancaster and Hunstanton (plus many more) are within a short drive. The first 3 are the nearest and are 3-5 miles away.
    North Creake has a friendly local pub within a short walk of the cottage. Creake Abbey, renowned for its restaurant, farmers' market and craft fairs, is under half a mile away. There is a huge network of excellent footpaths on the doorstep for dog-walkers. There are some great pubs and eateries nearby, including the Duck in Stanhoe and the Black Lion in Walsingham. The cottage has a pair of resident tawny owls and swifts nest in the roof in the summer months, which is increasingly rare around here. The cottage is 2 miles from Burnham Market and within 5 miles of Burnham Overy Staithe, Holkham, Wells and Brancaster beaches which, if you do not already know them, are well worth googling as they are amazing.

  • Op weg naar het noorden, is het huis voorbij NR21 9LA met ongeveer 50 meter, een klein spoor links net voor nr. 81 (ik miste het bord in het donker) Mooi huis, alles in een goede staat, achtertuin was hond-proof voor onze hond. Eigenaren waren aardig en woonden naast de deur. De stranden van Burnham / Brancaster / Holkham / Wells liggen allemaal op ongeveer 20 minuten afstand

  • We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in het huisje. Perfecte locatie - en zeer dicht bij een aantal fantastische wandelingen in Holkham, Brancaster Staithe enz. Kate biedt veel nuttige informatie die zeer werd gewaardeerd. Ook een lunch in de eendenherberg in Stanhoe is een must. Geweldig eten! Onze 4-jarige vraagt al wanneer we terug kunnen gaan, hij mist het strand en de kippen !! hopelijk zullen we snel terug zijn. Bedankt Kate

    This stunning quaint property is wrapped in 12 acres of private nature filled woodland. With a short walk to hundreds of acres and lakes of Bawsey Country Park. From an open fire to a luxurious hot tub. This wonderful property is about finding time to relax, unwind and make happy memories from beautiful walks that end with a cup of tea as the dog lays in front of the Aga, to stargazing the night sky with perhaps a glass of bubbly while relaxing in the hot tub.
    Paradise is situated in private woodlands which is shared with one other property, but is accessed by its own completely separate driveway and front door. Both properties having their own private gardens and hot tubs. Paradise is surrounded by nature and backing onto one of the most breath-taking Country parks.
    Nature, privacy, luxury and fun. Its about relaxation and creating an experience that will remain with you for a lifetime and hopefully be the first of many visits. We have succeeded if you are coming back to recharge with us in years to come.

    Flint built Shed, walking distance from a pub serving breakfast There is an en-suite wet room with shower, WC and basin. The Shed is tiny; hair dryer, radio, double bed, peg hooks, soap, kettle, fridge & freezer compartment, microwave, UHT milk, tea, coffee, nibbles. Towels, Egyptian cotton linen is provided. Underfloor heating, tiled floor Terrace and seating for warmer weather. A key safe offers unrestricted access and departure times. There is WiFi but no TV. Plenty of parking on the road
    There is very limited space but the French doors look out over the garden letting light into the room which has a vaulted ceiling. The glass door to the wet room is obscured for privacy but please be aware that the wet room leads directly off the bedroom so best shared with a very good friend! You will hear what is going on in the wet room, please be warned rather than be embarrassed. There is a velux window with no blind so please bring an eye sleep mask if you are sensitive to light, or be prepared to sleep under the covers! Bath towels are provided but due to limited space, no hand towels Guests can make hot drinks, I leave tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar and biscuits and there is a very small fridge for keeping drinks and food cool. There is also a microwave for heating up meals. There is an iron, board and a drying rack too. Fresh milk is not provided The flooring throughout is tiled and there is only a single shallow step on the garden path leading to The Shed. I do not allow pets
    The BlueBell pub in Langham is now open, only 5 doors away and offers gastro pub food. The Shed in my garden is only 2 miles from Blakeney with pubs and shops and 2 miles from Morston where there is a lovely pub and trips to sea the seals. Holkham is 20 minutes, regularly voted one of the top 5 beaches in the world! Wells-Next-The-Sea has plenty of shops, award winning pubs and cafes plus the wonderful golden sands of the beach. The Georgian town of Holt is a 10 minute drive and has plenty of shops, galleries and cafes. Burnham Market is 20 minutes away with The Hoste Arms among other eateries and an array of shops. Guests like the Egyptian cotton linen, feather bedding and hot shower in The Shed in my garden. Others have commented about the peace and tranquility and the view of my garden from the cosy warm interior of The Shed. Guests always appreciate the nibbles and facilities for making a drink and it's always easy to park right outside my house. 2020 will see the opening of The Harper, converted from the Langham glass factory offering The Stove restaurant, single use plastic will be a no-no with the additional aim of minimising their carbon footprint as much as possible. All within a 5 minute walk of The Shed.

    Renovated private double room with shared bathroom in a bright victorian building situated in the historic heart of King's Lynn. Allocated off-road parking for a car or small van. Short walk to the Corn Exchange, market square, Wetherspoons, High Street and train station.
    The ground floor flat is in a renovated Grade II listed building built c.1840. The private double room is spacious, has high ceilings and a large window for lots of natural light. The double bed has a new spring, padding and memory foam combination mattress, two pillows per person, extra blankets, desk, smart TV, kettle, cafetiere, tea bags (including herbal), iron, hair drier, heated towel rail and silent fridge. For autumn/ winter there is a 13.5 tog hollow fibre duvet. The room also has a two-seater sofa. The underfloor heating will be pre-programmed but can be overridden. In addition, there is an electric panel heater attached to the wall.
    History Coming out of the courtyard, looking to your right you can see the Tuesday market Place which is the largest medieval market square in Northern Europe. Surrounding the square are a restaurant (Prezzo), Pubs, the Corn Exchange venue, other businesses and meeting rooms for hire. At the opposite end of King Street, you'll find the 17th Century Custom House (which also serves as a Tourist Information Centre), a new gallery space and access to the Quayside which leads to the only two remaining Hanseatic buildings in the country. Located by the river, Hanse House has an indoor market, exhibition space, Bistro and a lot of history. Marriott's Warehouse is a restaurant with a great view of the river Ouse. Upcoming events: Sunday 6th May 2018 Grand East Anglian Run (URL HIDDEN) - route passes through King Street 20th - 21st May 2017 Hanse Festival (URL HIDDEN) 1st - 15th July 2017 Festival Too (One of Europe's largest free festivals) 15th - 28th July 2018 King's Lynn Festival (URL HIDDEN) Business The recently built, KLIC (King's Lynn Innovation Centre) will be opening it's doors soon and sits on the Nar Valley Way and is an indication of how King's Lynn is growing in significance as business hub. A business networking group meets weekly on a Tuesday at the Wetherspoons across the road and there are other meeting rooms available at other locations in the town. Leisure As well as the historical attractions and variety of restaurant and bars found in the centre of King's Lynn, a cycle ride or short car journey will take you to the country retreat of The Queen at Sandringham which includes 240 hectares of publicly accessible woodlands. There is a cycle route which leads here, and avoids busy roads. A 47 minute bus ride or 30 minute car ride will get you to the closest beach at Heacham. Just a little further, you'll find Hunstanton - with distinctive striped cliffs, a ship wreck, promenade, amusements and cafes. The North Norfolk coast has some of the most beautiful beaches in Britain with access to some long coastal walks, breathtaking sunsets and areas of historical and natural interest.
  • Logeren bij Rob was een schitterende ervaring. Zijn flat is schoon, functioneel, stijlvol en erg ruim. De flat ligt op een zeer centrale locatie, net om de hoek van de kade, marktplaats op dinsdag en andere winkelfaciliteiten. Ik zou een verblijf met Rob aanraden als je ergens wilt verblijven in het centrum van Kings Lynn.

  • Sterk aanbevolen!!! Rob is blijkbaar trots op wat hij te bieden heeft en de flat is knappend schoon en prachtig gepresenteerd. Het staat op het historische deel van Kings Lynn, dicht bij de Quayside en vormt een ideale uitvalsbasis om door de oude straten te dwalen. Ik verwachtte niet alle extra's - ontbijtgranen, pap, melk, thee (alle soorten), koffie, zelfs chocoladerepen! Ik zou Rob's plaats zeker opnieuw gebruiken en mijn vrienden aanmoedigen hetzelfde te doen. Bedankt Rob!

    The Summerhouse is now in its 8th year of my ownership and there are now so many people who know how special this little place is. Families come back year after year to have a traditional, old fashioned holiday. Many children ask their parents to come back, couples come for the peace and quiet, and guests also come on their own to lap up the wonderful space. To unplug from busy lives. This makes me so happy as this was my vision when I bought the property. So get your buckets and spades ready! The site is still very quiet even in the summer, allowing you to sit under the willow tree and read that book you have been meaning to start. Children can run around and play, make dens, look at the stars in their PJs, play games and experience a wholesome traditional family holiday (without technology!), and a holiday that they will remember... The Summerhouse has undergone a spruce up and up style in 2019, freshly painted, new items of vintage furniture and with all the carpets professionally cleaned. Check out my sister chalet, newly renovated for the 2017 season, The Wendy House', can be booked together for larger group gatherings...stunning! It is also perfect for a romantic getaway for two...or just bliss for one! From November 1st until March 1st The Summerhouse turns into 'The Winter Cabin', faux fur throws, hand crochet blankets and the chalet dressed for winter. Magical for children, or a complete escape from the rat race for adults. Winter is a very special time to visit, desolate beaches, great pubs with open fires and not forgetting the thousands of geese that migrate to this area. Winter walks and rosy cheeks. The 'Winter Cabin', is on a very quiet site, you may be the only people who are in residence...this may not suit everyone, it is very dark! I love it as it all adds to the adventure and...you can see the stars. The chalet is heated by plug in electric oil heaters and is very snuggly...any questions please ask

  • Wendy's plaats is erg lief. We kwamen aan toen het gazon werd gemaaid en de frisse geur van gras en de zee zo dichtbij herinnerde me aan mijn jeugd. Mijn jongens hielden van de wifi-blackout en brachten tijd door met het spelen van de vogelspellen en de geschenken van Wendy. Veel leuke details en geweldige service, zelfs tot hulp sturen als ik het fornuis niet kon werken! Geweldige plek bedankt!

  • Het Sumerhouse ligt weggestopt op een rustige, groene plek weg van de hoofdstrandweg. Er is veel ruimte voor kinderen om te spelen en het strand ligt op een zeer korte loopafstand. Wendy heeft het chalet prachtig ingericht met veel doordachte details, vooral voor kinderen! Het is perfect voor een gezellig klein uitje bij de zee!

  • We hadden een heerlijk verblijf in het zomerhuis met onze kleintjes. Het chalet is erg gezellig en heel schoon - een grote factor als je een kruipende baby hebt! De locatie is perfect en op korte loopafstand van vele bezienswaardigheden - met name het prachtige strand. We vonden Wendy's gids erg handig en de spellen waren geweldig toen het regende. Onze 6 -jarige was erg onder de indruk van de kleine details, zoals de chocolade op het kussen en de vlaggen van het zandkasteel. Het was onze eerste keer in Heacham en we vonden het geweldig. A large bed room with a king size bed, all Egyptian cotton linen and towels are provided. Plenty of storage plus dressing table. The kitchen is fully equipped with dish washer, microwave, hob, oven and fridge. A small freezer can be found in the hallway cupboard. There are communal washing machines and tumble dryers which are free to use for guests. The lounge is equipped with wifi, flat screen TV, dvd and music system. There are some guides, maps, books, games and dvd's left for guests to use. There is a small table for dining with views out to the sea. The bathroom has a bath with a full height electric shower. In the garden room downstairs there are extra chairs and deck chairs for guests use. There is a torch provided in the hall way cupboard for evening refreshment strolls and binoculars for wildlife viewing.
    Every visit to Brancaster is special with the amazing sandy beach, fantastic award winning pub The Ship Inn, great sunsets, and a wonderful opportunity to be close to to renowned RSPB centre at Titchwell. Close to the shopping delights of Burnham Market and a host of great local eateries, attractions and beaches. Wells 6 miles, Burnham Market 3 miles, Thornham 3 miles and Holkham 5 miles. all serviced by the local friendly coast hopper bus service so you can walk and talk as far as you wish then jump on the hopper home. Brancaster Bakery Cottage is a newly refurbished, self contained, 1-bed flint and chalk cottage adjoining The Old Bakery in the heart of Brancaster village. Guests have off street parking and use of large attractive gardens. It is only 2 minutes walk from The Ship Hotel, which serves lunch and dinner. The spectacular Brancaster Beach with its miles of golden sands is an easy walk along the Marsh Path.
    Brancaster Bakery Cottage (reputedly the flour store for the bakery in its day) has a fully fitted kitchen with new AEG dishwasher, washer-drier, oven, hob, Bosch Fridge and Nespresso coffee machine. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, heated towel rail and illuminated mirror with shaver socket. The luxurious bedroom has a king-sized White Company bed and super-comfy mattress, with Egyptian cotton Designers' Guild bedding. The living room has modern sofa and easy chair, dining table, coffee table and flat screen TV. Guests have their own outside sitting area with table and chairs. Or guests can make use of seating in the extensive garden. Tea and cake will be offered on arrival.
    Brancaster is a jewel set in North Norfolk's coast. It has a beautiful local beach with miles of wide sand and open skies. The historic Royal West Norfolk Golf Club is here and in the local villages you will find sailing at Brancaster Staite, shopping in Burnham Market and all the other attractions of North Norfolk. The RSPB bird sanctuary at Titchwell is just down the road. Bring your binoculars! Nature lovers will find much to see, and the famous Norfolk skies give superb star-gazing. The area is exceptionally well provided with excellent pubs and restaurants, so you will always find fabulous food and drink if you don't want to self-cater. It is truly a foodies paradise. When in season the famous Brancaster mussels are a plumptious treat. Other fish are also caught locally. The White Horse in Brancaster Staithe has it's own smokehouse and Gurney's fish shop has two outlets. Drove Orchards and the Thornham Deli are just down the road if you do need provisions for picnic lunches or supplies to cook dinner.

    Lovely little cottage for two in Blakeney near quay. Perfectly situated in centre of traditional village and near to great restaurants. The cottage has kitchen, sitting room, double bedroom with ensuite. Also private outside area
    Good position near to Blakeney Point seal sanctuary. Wonderful walks. Great pubs and restaurants
    Blakeney is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt coastal villages in England. The jewel of the Norfolk coastline it is full of traditional cottages and right on the coast, the traditional quay and mini beach are at the end of the road. The best beach in Norfolk, Holkham, is a drive of approx ten minutes along the coast. Lovely traditional seaside village with a traditional quay with boats coming and going, lovely walks along the salt marshes and coast, mini beach, great paddling, mini canoe hire for children. Crab fishing off the quay. The best beach is Holkham beach, very sandy and lots of space, sand dunes etc. This is to the left along the coastal road. Wells has a good beach as well and the village is nice for looking around. Going right along the Coast road are shingle beaches. Sheringham and Cromer. There is a pier at Cromer. Best shops are in Holt. Lovely old market town. There is a small supermarket in Blakeney within walking distance. Go down to the quay and turn left. Also a small variety of interesting shops. Places to eat within easy walking distance are two pubs child friendly, the Kings Arms and The White Horse. The Moorings for slightly more expensive meal, but they also do lunch and coffee. Two hotels that do food The Blakeney Hotel and The Manor, a lovely little cafe at the Methodist Church in the High St. for lunch and coffee, good value and children’s toys. Stately Homes to visit, Holkham Hall, Blickling and Sandringham. For a real treat Morton Hall, run by TV chef Galton Blackiston. In the summer you will find a caravan on the quay selling lovely crab sandwiches and also an ice cream shop near the quay. The harbour rooms usually have local bands at weekends. The village hall has antique fairs and there are often sales of crafts near the quay. The seal trip is a must. You can buy tickets at the bottom of the road.
  • Het huisje ligt op de perfecte locatie in Blakeney - vlak bij de hoofdstraat. Het was gemakkelijk te vinden en Veronica was uiterst behulpzaam en snel met communicatie. Inchecken en uitchecken waren beide zeer eenvoudig !! Het huisje is UITERST klein - misschien kleiner dan je op de foto's zou kunnen beseffen. Het is misschien de grootte van een caravan in termen van ruimte. Mijn vrouw en ik verbleven daar en het was absoluut prima voor ons - ze is 5'6 '' en ik ben 5'8 ''. Het bed was aan de kleine kant, hoewel het een tweepersoonsbed is - maar het was oké voor ons. Als je langer bent dan ik, denk ik dat je echt voorover moet buigen om door de deuropeningen te komen, omdat ze erg klein zijn - het is een heel oud, schattig klein huisje (of een deel van een huisje). De woonkamer is comfortabel en heeft een tv en verwarming - een kleine bank in plaats van de twee stoelen zou leuk zijn, hoewel het absoluut prima voor ons was. De keuken heeft alles wat je nodig hebt, maar wees er nogmaals op voorbereid dat het erg klein is en als je lang of groot bent, kun je daar misschien niet echt "koken". Voor ons was het echter prima en we zijn erin geslaagd om twee eenvoudige maaltijden te maken, omdat we het huisje alleen echt als basis gebruikten en de meeste tijd doorbrachten. De badkamer is ook klein, maar heeft weer alles wat je nodig hebt, inclusief een grote douche die echt geweldig is. Shampoo en handdoeken waren voor ons weggelaten, wat we erg op prijs stelden. Het huisje is eigenlijk een fantastische uitvalsbasis als je alleen bent (of voor een klein stel, zoals wij !!) en misschien een beetje budget hebt, maar je eigen ruimte wilt hebben. Het ligt op een geweldige locatie - zo gemakkelijk om met de bus of auto te reizen naar alle mooie dorpen en steden aan de kust. Prachtige stranden zijn ook vlakbij, en er zijn genoeg plekken om te eten en drinken. Ik beveel Blakeney krabschuur als je wat lokale zeevruchten wilt kopen !! Heel erg bedankt - we hebben echt een paar leuke dagen gehad.

  • Mooi klein huisje, denk caravan ruimte, geweldige locatie voor wandelingen en bezoeken aan de pub nooit verplaatst de auto nadat we parkeerden. De grootste problemen waren om zelf te koken als een zeer beperkte keuken, maar goed genoeg om een ontbijt te maken, een fles wijn te koelen en een kopje thee te zetten. Zou graag terugkeren en zou het aanbevelen aan vrienden.

    We have 5 friendly Mups n Pups! Fireman's Cottage was built in 1623 and sits in the grounds of Hunstanton Hall and Park. The grounds are only open to the public on Thursdays and even then people must be on foot and keep to the top roadway. A 14th Century moat runs through the garden, separating the cottage from Hunstanton Hall Tranquility in an idyllic location! Such peace and quiet to hear and see wildlife: Muntjac deer, Buzzards, Owls etc The Norfolk coast is a big draw for birdwatching
    PLEASE READ carefully :) ... Within these historic walls reside 5 friendly, furry DOGS/pups. Because we are aware that our communal hallways/landings are dog/puppy runways and therefore far from immaculate, we are not fussy about people entering these areas in their shoes; nor do we wish to be judged as such, especially as we are forewarning people. If a completely spotless environment is what you require, then our humble abode will not suit your style :) This is very much a traveller's place for rest and respite, a living home, not a glamourous hotel. The Eves bedroom is on the 2nd floor which has a lovely view through the velux window. The room has a Kingsize bed, single wardrobe for hanging space and drawer space in bedside tables. There are two solid oak high stools to sit and look out of the window as well as a small armchair underneath a reading spotlight. There is also a desk and computer table where a laptop could be used. There are no kitchen/cooking facilities but a fridge and electric kettle are provided along with cups and saucers and drinking glasses, and the use of a microwave could be made available along with dishes and cutlery, but the guest(s) would be responsible for their own washing-up. A sponge-cloth, washing liquid and a teatowel are provided in the bathroom. The bathroom is next door to the bedroom for the sole use of the guest(s). There is a DVD player and we can offer a small selection of films etc to borrow. We can also provide some board games which can be requested upon arrival (Scrabble, Backgammon, Monopoly etc). Because of the nature of the location, guests must respect the privacy of the other properties and residents and not go wandering around. Please take note again: 5 friendly dogs live here. We can accommodate a guest dog with prior discussions, because of our gang and the bedroom generally being kept dog-free:) 1 mile walk to the beach, door to dunes. Motorbikes and bicycles can be securely parked
    Although the area is named as Hunstanton Park, it is privately owned by the Le Strange Estate, who equally own Old Hunstanton beach. There are a few residents in the surrounding dwellings who, like us, own their own properties including sections of the roadway, it is the woods and farmland that the Estate own. There is an incredible amount of fascinating history surrounding the area. The village of Old Hunstanton originates from the 13th Century. It is divided by the coast road. The Cottage being on the side of the original village, duck pond, 14th Century Church and the Hall of course. The village has places to eat and drink:- Caley Hall Hotel, The Lodge, The Ancient Mariner, Le Strange Arms Hotel and The Neptune (Michelin star restaurant). There is also the Post Office/village shop and The Old School Hairdressers/Barbers and Beauticians. The beach is approximately 15 minutes walk from door to the dunes across the golf course. There is the lovely Old Boat Cafe by the beach, opposite the RNLI station Old Hunstanton beach is fantastic for sunsets, walks and joins onto the RSPB sanctuary and Nature Reserve.. The Victorian town of Hunstanton is just round the corner, with local shops, supermarkets, garage and services etc.

    Nelson Cottage is a charming period mid-terrace Norfolk cottage which has been tastefully refurbished. It is beautifully presented throughout with a contemporary bathroom and kitchen, a comfortable sitting room with an open fire-place, with the advantage of free Wi-Fi and BT Vision. It is conveniently located in the heart of Burnham Market within a short walk to the village green with its great selection of independent shops, galleries and places to eat. There is a fully enclosed courtyard garden which catches the afternoon and evening sun, and it's only 2 mins walk to the playing fields with tennis courts and a childrens' playground. Dogs welcome (small additional fee of £20 per dog)
    Ground Floor Sitting Room: Tiled floor with underfloor heating and a large comfortable L-shaped sofa with plenty of cushions. This is a charming cosy room with an attractive exposed brick wall, an open working fire, sofa and a flat-screen TV with BT TV package, including BT Sport, and a DVD player. There is a large walk in cupboard by the front door for hanging coats and storing footwear, dog-leads etc Kitchen: With underfloor heating, pale blue painted units, windows overlooking the courtyard, halogen hob, electric oven, cupboard housing fridge (with ice-box) and a microwave. There's a kitchen table which will seat 4. Door to the stairs up to the first floor. There is a washing machine housed between the kitchen and the bathroom. There is a door leading from the hallway between the kitchen and bathroom into the back courtyard. Bathroom: contemporary bathroom with underfloor heating, a bath shower, hand basin, WC, heated towel rail. First Floor A fairly steep cottage staircase with a hand rail. Bedroom 1: Beautifully presented large light and airy room at the front of the cottage with church views, a king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps, boudoir chair, chest of drawers and a built-in wardrobe. There is a storage heater. Bedroom 2: Smaller room which has a double bed and chest of drawers. The bedroom is at the back of the cottage and overlooks the courtyard. Please note that there is an additional mattress stored under the double which may be used if required. There is a storage heater. Outside At the back of the cottage is a full enclosed, newly paved courtyard garden with a new bronze steel 4 seater garden dining table and chairs set with parasol. In the courtyard also there is a garden love seat with cushions (stored inside). There is a Weber bbq for guests to use housed in one of the outside storage sheds. The courtyard is a real sun-trap and enjoys the afternoon and evening sun. Although there is no designated off-street parking, there are no parking restrictions and it is usually possible to park outside. Please note that there is a right of access through the garden by the neighbouring cottage, but this is rarely used and so should not disturb guests.
    Burnham Market A delightful Georgian village which is situated a stone’s throw away from the glorious North Norfolk coastline and is the largest of the 7 Burnham villages. At its centre is a large village green surrounded by striking Queen Anne and Georgian buildings, with 2 churches that lie at each end of its broad main street. Unlike many other English towns which are dominated by multiples, Burnham Market has a traditional post office, butcher, baker, hardware shop, fish shop and chemist for all the necessities of everyday life, but there are also over 30 highly original independent and specialist shops, selling a wide range of exciting deli products, vibrant and stylish accessories for home and garden, smart clothes shops, and books old and new. There are some great places to eat, the best being the renowned Hoste Arms which is a 17th Century old coaching house and is open all day. As a result Burnham Market attracts many celebrities and cosmopolitan visitors, getting very crowded in the holiday periods, earning the nickname “Chelsea-on-Sea.” There is an annual summer music festival with professional musicians entertaining residents and holiday makers in various venues such as the lovely church of Burnham Westgate at the western edge of the village. From the end of November the village is beautifully lit with Christmas lights and it makes the perfect place to visit for Christmas shopping.

    Forget-me-not Cottage has been refurbished in February. It is a lovely cottage, very cosy and relaxing. It has all the things you could need for a holiday very close by. We are dog friendly at the cottage and welcome your pooch. The cottage will be cleaned thoroughly before your stay. We have buckets and spades for you to take to the beach to make the perfect sandcastle - you’re never too old to make a sandcastle :-) please do not hesitate to contact me for further details.
    The cottage is 5 minutes away from the beach, Hunstanton golf club and The Neptune, a Michelin star restaurant (booking required). Also close by is Titchwell for bird watching. Sandingham is a 10 minute drive away. Petals Tea Rooms is great to stop off at for afternoon tea or a cuppa and a slice of cake. Also in Hunstanton Town, which you can walk to is a swimming pool and another lovely beach with arcades and a funfair. 2 minutes walk away is the local, The Lodge, which offers lovely meals and a great beer with garden. There is a play park directly over the road from the cottage and a local shop which offers fresh croissants and other delicious treats.
    Old Hunstanton is the place to be. There are leaflets at the cottage to let you know of the many places nearby to visit. I can also advise you further if you would like details

Situated right on the edge of the wild salt marshes with a 10 minute walk along the sea bank to get to the famous beach at Brancaster. It is a very special place to stay and you will almost certainly see some of the following. Marsh Harriers, Buzzards, Pink Foot Geese, Woodpeckers and of course the resident Barn Owl, Simon. It really is a complete haven for all manner of wildlife. There is a private garden area separated from the bigger house Little Saltings, which can also be rented through Air BNB. This sleeps 8 so in total the two properties will sleep 10. The sitting room is compact but perfect for two. With French doors to the garden, a comfortable sofa, a leather chair, electric stove, table and chairs and TV and DVD player. There is WiFi available. The kitchen is a galley style, and pretty well equipped. The bedroom has a comfy Super King size bed, which everyone who stays say they get the best nights sleep in! There is a bathroom with bath and shower over WC and basin. A short walk into the village takes you to The Ship pub, which is great for food and you can catch the Coast Hopper bus from the top of the road if you don't want to drive along the coast. Very handy! There are no street lights along the track so it is wonderful for star gazing. Bring a torch if you are arriving after dark though!

We hielden van het verkennen van de omgeving en gingen op een aantal mooie wandelingen. Wells is een heerlijke plek en we zouden de hut ten zeerste aanbevelen als een uitstekende uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen en 's avonds te ontspannen.

Sexton's Yard has a really lovely welcoming feel as soon as you step inside the front door. Managed by the owners who live close by, a stable door opens into the open-plan living area which has a beautiful exposed brick feature fireplace with multi-fuel stove. With comfortable seating and dining space for four people and a Smart television with WiFi and radio the room is great to snuggle up in with a glass of wine. The kitchen is well-equipped and comes with modern appliances and solid oak work surfaces and perfect if you want to cook. Upstairs you will find two stylish bedrooms both with double beds and a shower room. Outside there is a sunny fully-enclosed shingle courtyard garden with garden furniture so you can soak up the rays and dine alfresco or enjoy the homemade cake the owner bakes for you on arrival! Due to the age and character of the cottage there is restricted head height in the sitting room which measures 1.73m (68"). Two well behaved small dogs are welcome (small additional charge). De eigenaren lieten ons een beetje kleine traktaties voor onze aankomst - een fles bubbly en een geweldige citroen drizzle cake. Het duurde niet lang!

    Stiffkey Stiffkey is a picturesque coastal village with one of the oldest stretches of saltmarshes along the Norfolk coast. It is an important wildlife habitait and is an ideal base for walkers and ornithologists with the Norfolk coastal path passing through here. It has an excellent village pub/hotel called The Red Lion which has a good reputation for local ales and good locally sourced food. It is also home to the famous Stiffkey Lamp Shop and the well-stocked local farm shop/cafe: Stiffkey stores. The beautiful sandy beaches at Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea are approximately 10 minutes drive away, with the harbours and boat trips from Blakeney and Morston within 10 minutes drive to the east.

There are two bedrooms (double and twin) on the first floor, along with a shower room. Down the Norfolk winder stairs on the ground floor is a well-equipped dining kitchen, cosy sitting room and a further bathroom. Outside is a small courtyard garden with seating. Perfect for enjoying a relaxing glass of wine or two at the end of a busy day. This bijou cottage is a true delight and is sure to be a very popular holiday choice for families, couples and friends. At full tide the harbour comes alive with fishing boats unloading their catch and local sailors setting out and returning from a day's sailing.
