This is a cosy cottage with beautiful natural gardens and hedged that make the place lovely and serene. the cottage is actually in the the middle of the busy bulimba/oxford street cimena and dining district...we have a beautiful cavalier dog that is in and around the property. there is a living room off the bedroom that is actually more like an ensuite to the room.     Our guesthouse is a new and secure ground level flat. It is self contained with a kitchenette and living area, one bedroom with a King bed and your own bathroom. It has WiFi, parking and private entrance.
    The apartment is quiet, bright and airy and the polished concrete floor is so cool on your feet. The king bed is super comfortable and if it gets warm you have ceiling fans or A/C to keep you cool.
    Oxford Street is well known for its restaurants, coffee shops and Cinema. Around the corner is the Bulimba 9 hole Golf Course.

    One bedroom apartment surrounded by leafy gardens located on the corner of Cowper Street and Apollo Road. Entrance to the apartment is via the side gate fronting 4 Cowper Street where you can park off street . Within a minutes walk to public transport, it is easy to get around and to take a magical cruise to the city via water. Short stroll to Oxford street where there is plenty of restaurants, shops, park and the cinema to keep you entertained. Apartment sleeps two In a comfy double bed.
    This spacious one bedroom ground floor apartment is self contained, adjoining a family home amongst a leafy garden. Newly renovated, your private entrance opens into the lounge room, complete with a television and small romantic courtyard to the right. The kitchen and dining room has everything you could possibly need and is perfect for guests who want to do some cooking during their stay. We have ensured the bed will give you the best night sleep possible and the bedroom has a large wardrobe for your personal items. Each of the three rooms are equipped with ceiling fans which provide excellent cooling airflow during the summer months. Whilst winter months are quite mild, a free standing fan heater is provided to comfortably warm the apartment .
    Bulimba is a very beautiful, relaxing place with plenty of things going on with cinemas, restaurants, bars and cafes minutes away from the apartment. If you want to venture out towards New Farm, Riverside, Southbank, West end and the city all is accessible via public transport and we recommend taking a magical ride along the Brisbane river via the city cat (water taxi). Some popular attractions near us include "Eat Street " markets- Northshore Hamilton Wharf (one ferry stop across the river ) Friday and Saturday nights. Features some 80 shipping containers peddling delicious street food , fresh produce, cocktails, art, clothes, craft beer and music. Also Brisbane Newfarm Powerhouse. - is a home for arts, culture and creativity and hosts events including theatre, music, comedy, dance, film, visual arts, and festivals. Bars, dining and cafes. We also have put a locals guidebook together for you with everything you need to know about Bulimba and Brisbane making sure you get the best experience out of your stay.

Bulimba is Brisbane’s best city suburb, enjoy free breakfast with cereal, milk, tea and coffee pod machine when staying with us. Near new air conditioned two bedroom and one bathroom with kitchen & TV room. Outdoor deck great for meals. Polished concrete floors, backyard great for pets. Free parking. Public ferry to the city 3 mins, bus stop only a minutes walk.
    10 mins walk to Bulimba restaurants, cafes and cinemas. Nice quiet street on top of a hill. Wifi free... a short walk to the Apollo Road ferry terminal. 10 min walk to a new cafes on Oxford St. We supply shampoo, conditioner and body wash for all our guests. Hotel quality professionally laundered sheets.
    Bulimba is the best suburb in Brisbane. I love it here. Lots of amazing cafes, restaurants, parks and cinemas. I have lived here for 15yrs and after living in the USA, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth I would have to say that this is by far the best place to live.

  • We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad op Airhome. De communicatie was supergemakkelijk en snel en de plaats ziet er precies zo uit als op de foto's. De buurt is zeer gunstig gelegen en hoewel het een levendige buurt is, is het appartement erg rustig! Zou absoluut aanraden daar te blijven!

  • Dit was zo'n prachtige plek om te verblijven, het is precies zoals het op de foto's staat. Ik hield van de kleine restaurants in de buurt. Parkeren is geweldig, vooral met de lift van de eigen parkeerplaats baai recht naar uw kamer. De kamer zelf is brandschoon en super stijlvol, zeer minimaal, en toch zo schattig met kleine decoraties die je het gevoel geven alsof je bij je thuis bent. De badkamer is uitgerust met bodywash en shampoo, voor het geval u de uwe vergeet. De keuken heeft veel benodigdheden voor een maaltijd thuis, als u dat wilt. Zelf inchecken is zeer eenvoudig, omdat de gegeven instructies zeer gedetailleerd zijn, samen met foto's van waar u de sleutels kunt krijgen en waar u parkeert, enz. Over het algemeen was het een geweldige eerste keer met Airbnb, en ik zou het ten zeerste aanbevelen om Airhome te gebruiken bij een van hun eigenschappen: D

    The bedroom is spacious and overlooks a beautiful and tranquil garden. Our guests have use of modern full sized bathroom which is adjoining the bedroom. We have added a small bar fridge to enable our guests to keep food and beverages cool. We have also included a coffee machine and kettle so that guests can make and enjoy hot drinks in the room. The inclusion of a TV ensures that our guests can retreat to the room and still watch their favourite programs. Parking is no problem as we have safe parking in a quiet side street which is adjacent to the property. The house is a corner block.
    Everything you need is within easy walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes, as well as a lovely leafy park in the center of Bulimba ensuring plenty of play space for children and a space for exercise.

We hebben genoten van het meenemen van de Citycat van de stad naar de plaats van Sherryl & Rod en terug, vooral 's nachts wanneer de stadslichten aan zijn. We brachten ons weekend rond in Bulimba voor goede koffiegebakjes en lokale restaurants. Moet koffie proberen: Bellisimo. Sherryl & Rod zijn erg aardig en gemakkelijk in de omgang.   • We boekten in eerste instantie hun kamer in hun huis, maar omdat onze gastheren midden in de nacht terugvlogen, hebben ze ons een upgrade gegeven naar het appartement beneden. Het appartement was brandschoon, mooi ingericht, comfortabel en goed gevuld met ontbijtproducten, wijn (die genereus en mooi was, maar niet naar onze smaak, maar we zijn wel kieskeurig) en andere voorzieningen zoals koffie enz. De gastheren waren vriendelijk en behulpzaam, ik kan Sherryl en Rod helemaal niets verwijten. Zo dankbaar voor ons verblijf. Enige opmerking zou de locatie op een heuvel zijn dus kreeg zeker een aantal goede oefening op onze reis.

    This brand new light filled one bedroom apartment is the perfect balance between the comforts of home without feeling like you are staying in someone else house. Great care has been taken when setting up the space to make sure your stay is comfortable and relaxing. Bathroom amenities are provided, along with Sheridan bedding and towels. The lounge converts to a queen size bed that comfortably sleeps two adults. The rooftop terrance is a communal space with BBQ and city views.
    At the time the photos were taken the blinds had not been installed. All windows (including the internal window) have blackout blinds installed. Where possible you will get to sample some of what Bulimba has to offer.
    Bulimba has a village feel but is an inner city suburb of Brisbane. Located 15min from Brisbane airport, 15min from Brisbane CBD, Bulimba offers guest easy access to the city and airport but has a relaxed pace of life.

The home is fully decked out with a Balinese square 8 seater dining table, all of the kitchen equipment you could think of and a BBQ on the back deck. You can soak up the morning sun on the front balcony, afternoon sun on the back balcony, enjoy a meal, and some relaxed people watching as the day unfolds! We also have a swimming pool and an internal and private visitor/tenant parking and a private enclosed garage. Oxford Street is one property away, so you can take advantage of the brilliant cafes, dirt cheap cinema, pub, bars, boutique shops etc. The Woolworths Supermarket and some bottle shops are within 2 blocks, so you wouldn't even need a car and definitely don't need to leave the suburb if you didn't want to! And, we have a golf course down the road, many parks for the kids to choose from, river walks, a local library, a number of day spa's, and many other things to keep you busy, all within a few minutes walk! Unlimited Wifi internet is available to help you get on with planning holidays, getting any work done, or keeping in touch with family and friends. All amenities are for your use, nothing is off limits. Bins are shared with the other apartments. They are at the back of the complex, on the right-hand side, and rubbish can be deposited in any of the shared bins. It is hard not to love Bulimba. Being there is like a permanent holiday! Given the apartment is not even a stone's throw from the main street, everything is at your fingertips. It is like a little country village. TRANSPORT OPTIONS Public transport options include a bus within 100m from the home and a city cat (ferry) within an 8min stroll from the home. We will provide 2 Go Cards (plastic travel cards) for you to top up at your leisure to ensure you get the cheaper rates :-) There is always uber, and a taxi available 100m away at the local pub to get you to the airport which is about 15min away. Uber will cost you around $30, or Taxi tends to cost around $55-$70 (depends on the time of day). For stays longer than 11 days, we offer a complimentary refresh on a weekly basis. We don’t have any hidden cleaning charges. All guests will receive bread, milk, eggs, and chocolate on arrival. Longer stays get some wine or beer thrown in too! The fridge has all the condiments and sauces you need to help you with any meals you prepare.
    It is hard not to love Bulimba. Being there is like a permanent holiday! Given the apartment is not even a stones throw from the main street, everything is at your finger tips. It is like a little country village. There is never a dull moment, and you don't need a car!

Travel 15 minutes by Uber and you are in the City!

Close to city/airport + short walk to trendy Bulimba. There are many wonderful restaurants in Bulimba and people travel from all over to enjoy the ambience. Enjoyable walks around the neighbourhood including along the river and playground and park close by for children. Safe on street parking next to unit.
    This self contained apartment is ideally placed for easy access to the City as well as for leisurely walk to the very popular cafe's, restaurants and trendy bars in Bulimba as well as the local cinema which attracts patrons from all over Brisbane. It's reputation for good value is well known. You can walk easily to Oxford st and indeed need go no further to enjoy wine bars, cafes or restaurants which rival the City for patronage and general sense of fun and energy. Also there is a wonderful park with trees for shade and playground equipment for children. You can also join in exercise classes at different times. If you wish to go to the City transport is easy and travelling on Citycats ensures that you enjoy all of what the river city has to offer. The Citycat ferry terminal is approximately 15 minute walk and only 6 stops to the City and what better way to travel than along the beautiful Brisbane river. Balmoral is a well established suburb and our guests have told us they have been really pleased with what the area has to offer. The apartment is 1 bedroomed but there is a comfortable sofa bed in the living room. It is assumed two guests will sleep in the main bedroom. Extra guests can be accommodated for $20 per night for the sofa bed. If the sofa bed is used by one of the 2 guests included in the tariff there will be a $10 charge for laundry. Children under 5 at no extra cost. We have portable cot available. In addition, for a larger family there may be capacity to accommodate a couple in our guest room upstairs - subject to availability. See Bali in Balmoral listing. So this family friendly setting can potentially accommodate 6 people. Ideal if there is a family gathering in Brisbane e.g. wedding. Parking is not an issue as this is a corner block and there is a quiet side street which is immediately adjacent to front door - less than a minute and it is a safe place to park at no cost or restrictions.
    Balmoral is a well established suburb - lots of leafy green areas. It is also the best of both worlds - city and suburb. Our guests have commented on how accessible the local cafes are to the apartment and it is a very enjoyable walk along the river. It is also very convenient for transfers from the airport as well as north and south coast beaches. Balmoral is considered a safe suburb and many residents enjoy walks around the neighbourhood and along the river. For our guests -especially the younger ones who might want to go the night clubs which are predominantly in Fortitude Valley, it is a relatively cheap taxi fare ( $20-$25 approx). However we are increasingly hearing that the Bulimba nightlife rivals the social scene in the City and Valley. The lovely aspect of this area is that it caters for all ages and preferences.

We hebben echt genoten van ons verblijf, net als onze hond Toby, hij hield van het verkennen van de beveiligde tuin. Super locatie, dicht bij alle restaurants in Oxford Street.     Our home is a modern double story residence. You as our Airbnb guests will have exclusive use of our facilities as we only rent out 1 bedroom. We are located in a quiet neighbourhood, but close to both Rail and Bus. We are 5 minutes walk to shops and supermarkets, and drive to Bulimba which has many casual restaurants and bars. Just a 10 minute walk to Morningside village which has shops, bars and restaurants. We are 15 mins from airport and 20 mins to the city by train.
    Guests will enjoy a large upstairs bedroom room (area 3.7m x 3m) with a Queen size bed and their own private bathroom with a shower, bath and wash basin and separate private toilet. Although we have a 4 bedroom house we only rent out one bedroom so guests have exclusive use of our facilities. We will supply linen, towels and toiletries. The bedroom room has a ceiling fan and is also air conditioned if needed. Guests may also access the kitchen for tea and coffee but no cooking facilities will be available other than the use of our microwave. Tea/coffee and toast will be provided for breakfast. We have a pool and large outdoor entertainment area and landscaped backyard which guests can use. We have a Manx cat called Molly who has the run of the house and is very friendly.
    Cannon Hill is an older suburb of Brisbane but is full of life and many different styles of housing . Our area has many young families so you will hear some noise occasionally from children playing. Parking is available on the street and is not an issue. Our area is flat for walking and the train station that can take you to the city, Southbank and other attractions is only a 10 min walk away.

  • Mark en Gayle zijn erg aardig en attent. We zijn erg onder de indruk van hun gastvrijheid. We hadden een lekker diner samen en we hebben echt genoten van het chatten met hen. De plaats is schoon en comfortabel. De rustruimte aan de achterkant van het huis is perfect om te chillen. We hebben geen kans gehad om een openbaar vervoer te gebruiken, maar we kunnen zien dat het erg dicht bij een bushalte en treinstation ligt. Het is ook dicht bij veel parken. Zeer aan te raden om bij hen te blijven als u een kans hebt!

Alhoewel ik na 1 uur aankwam, was dit geen probleem voor mij en werd ik me erg welkom in hun mooie huis. Ze hebben het huis zeer goed uitgerust voor bezoekers (dwz sensorlichten in de gang zodat gasten hun weg naar de badkamer in het donker kunnen vinden!). Locatie was uitstekend - extreem dichtbij voor mijn opleiding in het Colmslie Hotel. Ik was voorzien van een onverwachte bonus van toast en koffie voor het ontbijt, en genoten van een beetje te leren kennen over hun eigen reizen. Geweldige gastheren!

Ik zou zeker weer verblijven als ik een plaatsing in de buurt heb. De auto parkeren is 6 uur parkeren en de Coles parkeren is 3 uur dus ik was mijn auto tussen de twee omwisselen maar Maria bood haar parkeervergunning. Ik had een fantastisch verblijf en zou deze kamer graag aanbevelen
