“This is a lovely outdoor, heated, swimming pool, in a great setting! Best to go early in the day in school holidays. Open most of the year, and they do live music nights once a month too - watch out these get booked up! The pool cafe (run separately) serves great food.”

“Serve excellent curries ranging beyond the standard fayre. Alternatively why not try their delivery service? If you’re looking for a more traditional take on the English curry-house then Sanghams over the road also gets good reviews but in our view is just pipped by Maazi”

“Where many of the locals go (though the younger ones prefer the Little John) and can often get busy though many of the tables are reserved for diners so booking ahead will ensure you get a table if you want to eat. It serves traditional pub fayre with a reasonable selection of real-ales”
