My wife and I and our 5 kids stayed with this family during Chinese New Years. The family was extremely nice and very caring. The grandma cooked great traditional chinese food. I speak chinese so communicating with the family directly wasn't an issue, but I could see that if you dont' speak chinese it might be challenging once you get there to communicate. I wanted to have an authentic chinese new years experience and this was a very positive experience. The biggest challenge for us was that the beds (in traditional Chinese style) are extremely hard. If the beds were softer then everything would have been exactly as I'd hoped. Very cool location, with some cool hiking trails right next to the home. a very cool budist temple up the road with 1500 year history. 30 minute drive to Moganshan. Again, super nice family, and only 3 hours drive from Shanghai.
