“This is a great place to learn more about our Saskatchewan history. The exhibits change from time to time , there is a first nations perspective, lots of fossils and the static displays of western prairies are so realistic you could be standing in the midst of the animals. Bird calls add to the atmosphere. The basement has dinosaur displays including fossilized TRex scat. Besides the dinosaur there is an excellent display of pre-ice age large mammals including many that are overlooked in other national history museums.”

“For all lovers of things old and antique this wonderfully curated museum is set up like an old town, with everything from a blacksmithing shop to an old church, school room and pharmacy. Walk through an old circus fun house, an old sod home and see old train sets, cars and farm equipment. The best part is?? It's all indoors! Great for any time of the year. Check their website for events.”
