“Get a unique perspective of the mountain town of Squamish and the surrounding alpine scenery, as you soar above it all on the Sea to Sky Gondola.Once at the top, there are a number of outdoor activities. Choose from the Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge (100 metres/328 feet), Via Ferrata (additional cost) climbing experience, Alpine Alley (our kids only nature walk), many accessible viewing platforms to take in the views of coastal fjords, various walking/hiking trails and the Summit Lodge, complete with a restaurant, bar and retail area….or do them all!”

“The Stawamus Chief, officially Stawamus Chief Mountain, is a granitic dome located adjacent to the town of Squamish, British Columbia, Canada. It towers over 700 m above the waters of nearby Howe Sound. It is one of the largest granite monoliths in the world. Amazing for hiking and outdoors activities. ”

“Even if this place was sub-par we'd still go here because it's one of a few sushi restaurants in town, but guess what! It's VERY GOOD -- and this is coming from a sushi junkie who used to live in Vancouver, the sushi capital of the world. We are so lucky here in Squamish to have Sushi Sen. Make a reservation or get there early or else wait in line! :/”

“The Watershed Grill – 41101 Government Road. Monday to Friday 11:00AM to Midnight. Saturday and Sunday 10:00AM to Midnight. Rustic with a fantastic location on the river, which is gorgeous on a warm, sunny day. Fun Fact: Bruno Mars team stopped by during the Squamish Music Festival to pick up a pre-performance burger and fries.”

“A brewpub that is probably the best known here in Squamish -- iconic for sure, but a bit of a tourist trap. The food is OK but the space is big and nice and feels like that cabin in The Hateful Eight. Enjoy frequently rotating taps pouring a well loved, great craft beer selection. The patio is also nice on warmer days!”

“One of Squamish's latest additions to its burgeoning craft beer scene. Locals love it, tourists love it, the pizza is out of this world! Order my favourite beer (an IPA) or try them all with a sampler flight!”

Shannon Falls is the third highest waterfall in British Columbia. The park covers an area of 87 hectares. “Just a really, really solid Indian restaurant we are lucky to have in town. Everything on the menu is delicious but the Tandoori wings are AMAZING! The owner, Don, comes out every night to personally ask you how your food was. Say "hi" to him for me and tell him Adela sent ya! ;)”

“Nesters Market is downtown just off Cleveland Avenue at 1200 Hunter Place. In our opinion, Nesters has the best local seafood selection, freshest berries and best bulk nuts and seeds. Also in this complex area is a Starbucks, Home Hardware, Heath Store, A & W and the TD Canada Trust Bank. ”

“Pretty much the only "up-scale" place in Squamish, The Salted Vine is owned and operated by the ex-Araxi (high-end Whistler restaurant) team. They offer very good food on the pricier side. If you're in the mood to swap your hiking boots for your fancies, leave the plaid at home and head over to The Salted Vine. Spoil yourself for a night, you deserve it. :)”

“Locals know this is where the best beer is at. While the tourists mill about in line at Backcountry, enjoy a heated patio on a bluebird sunny day off the beaten path over here at A-Frame. If you're lucky they still have a double IPA on tap at the time of this writing. They've also paired with a great food truck, "Luz Tacos" which is on premises. Tell em' Adela sent ya! ;)”
