Lovely place! Right next to Burton farm so it's best to put that in your GPS when heading there. Loved that she had brochures and even food in the kitchen!! Great added bonus. Didn't get to meet her but she seemed lovely from our online interactions. Thanks again!!

The Nook is a really cosy and enjoyable place to stay near Oxford. It was very well maintained and the breakfast supplies are an extremely good idea. We definitely recommend to stay there !

I spent two nights at The Nook with my daughter. It was easy to find, in a beautiful area and a cosy escape from busy life. Communication before hand was great and The Nook itself was bright, light and open. We both enjoyed the outlook from the windows, the lovely mattress and pillows and the hot shower. It's very close to Oxford and altogether a delightful place to stay.

Such a sweet little place! Very nice to have a free-standing unit on your host's property because Miranda was accessible while the place felt private. Miranda greeted us upon our arrival and was quick to offer information about the sites. There were plenty of goodies like coffee, tea, biscuits, cereals, and farm fresh milk waiting for us. The place was fresh and homey at the same time and the setting is beautiful. There is an attic element to the space so probably good for tall people to know (my dad is 6'5") but the master bedroom is downstairs where ceiling heights are standard so this didn't negatively impact our stay at all and just added to the cozy atmosphere for us.

I was made to feel welcome here and nothing was a problem. Great communication.

Very convenient location for Henley-on-Thames town centre and surrounding villages. As the roomhas a separate staircase it feels private. I felt very well catered for and looked after.

Rosemary is very accommodating and welcoming. I had a lovely stay. The accommodation is completely self contained and she could charge a lot more for it - especially given area and close proximity to centre. It is essentially a garage loft conversion with an exterior staircase. There was plenty of space and it was all clean and tidy

Rosemary's studio flat was wonderful! I was in Henley for a friends wedding and chose Rosemary's place to stay. It was exactly as photos, small but perfectly sized, clean bright and airy, and perfect location! Basic cooking facitities but covered everything needed. Rosemary was great communicating and answering all my questions prior to check in and was on hand if needed during the stay. Hosts were very nice, welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if I ever find myself back in Henley!

A great studio flat, with everything we needed for a two night stay. We were attending a relatives birthday lunch at the manoir, and the accommodation was a short walk away. As we have a small child we spent two evenings in the studio and were very grateful for the extensive dvd selection. Hayley was friendly and helpful and supplied a travel cot and highchair for our one year old.

Perfectly located a few minutes' walk from La Manoir, and in the middle of a lovely village - price reflects location. Another superb pub an easy 20 mins walk across fields if, as we did, you need to walk off a big lunch! A compact but comfortable studio with a good bathroom and kitchen fine for basic needs - including coffee machine etc. Huge DVD library for crashing out in the evening.

We enjoyed our four day break immensely, our host Hayley was very helpful and welcoming. Accommodation was 5 star.

Lovely room and host. Good facilities but no bread for breakfast though the fridge did contain jam and butter. maybe we should have brought our own and just didn't read the info properly, quite likely. This quibble apart I'd thoroughly recommend it.

This is the second time we have stayed at Tom's place and it was just as good as the first time. The apartment is immaculate, with everything you could need. It is a such a quiet and relaxing place to be and you won't be disappointed. We will definitely be staying again!

The Lodge was beautifully furnished with excellent facilities and some very high tech. additions. The provisions supplied were greatly received to make our stay so pleasurable and easy. Chris and Tracey were very welcoming and relaxed, I wish them every success and hope to return there myself sometime soon.

What a wonderful place, everything it promises on the website and more. We would love to have met Tom and Tracey as it was so well presented. Breakfast left in fridge I asked for special milk and there it was. Homemade jams and honey, eggs, fresh bread all so perfect. The area is very quiet beautiful countryside and instructions Tom leaves on the internet to find the place are spot on as it could be hard to find. We want to go back again as we were there for a family wedding so didn't spend much time there. Reading and all supermarkets only 20 minutes away if you want to cook etc All instructions and an excellent folder full of all you should need are in the flat Tom has done it so well we were so impressed. Thank you to both of you for the most amazing find you should be so proud of this self contained gem. Hope to meet you next time.

A view from every window, beautiful gardens all around the house. This is a comfortable flat with everything you need and a great shower. Jo is helpful and friendly and they have a lovely dog. A good base for any countryside exploration.

A very comfortable and very well equipped garden flat in a beautiful property. Joanna was very welcoming, gave us easy to understand directions and, because we were arriving after dark, left plenty of lights on for us. The flat is upstairs with a comfortable bedroom and ensuite ( good shower too) plus a roomy sitting/eating/kitchen area. A good kitchen too, with everything you could want. Even under cover car parking! Nicely heated on cool evenings, within walking distance of a good village pub and a store/ deli. Quiet location and an easy 30 to 40 minute drive from Heathrow. Highly recommended!

This was undoubtedly the best Airbnb experience I've had to date in the four years I've been travelling with Airbnb. The photos that are posted, although beautiful, don'd do the flat justice. The garden of Joanna's house is truly beautiful and you get great views from all of the windows in the flat. Joanna has added a number of great touches from freshly cut flowers, ironed John Lewis bedding and towels, great bedside lights, black out blinds in the bedroom even to providing bread, milk and fresh orange juice. We loved our stay and cannot recommend the flat and Joanna's hosting highly enough. If you're anywhere near this area, you should stay here - don't even think of staying anywhere else!

A lovely place to stay about 10 minutes from Thame and 30 minutes from Oxford, the M40 is close by but the sound of the cars etc soon fade into the background well worth a stay.

The flat is ideal for two wanting a base for a few days. It's comfortable, clean and is well equipped. The motorway noise is barely noticeable except if you open the bathroom window.

Super stay. Exactly as described. Very clean and comfortable. Well laid out flat. We enjoyed a great weekend in Henley and Triley's suggestions for where to eat were spot on.

We had a very pleasant stay in Caroline's studio. It's close to the house, and Caroline made us feel very welcome and able to call her if we needed anything. The studio was very clean, and though we didn't cook anything it looked as though it would have everything you'd need. The location is very quiet and peaceful, perfect for getting away for the weekend. There's a pub called The Plough with a long garden that backs on to the river, which is a very beautiful spot to have a drink. We were very grateful that Caroline was so helpful and easy to contact, both leading up to our stay and while we were there. Would recommend highly!

This is the perfect place to visit some lovely Oxford villages and stroll along by the Thames. The Barley Mow pub at the end of the village is a very good place to eat out offering a good variety of food. This studio cottage has everything that is needed for a lovely stay. Caroline the host is warm, friendly and helpful.

We had a family celebration in the area and needed an overnight stay. Location within easy walking distance of 2 pubs and a much longer walk but short drive in many more in Wallingford. We didn't expect such a high spec. or the milk,butter,eggs and bread left for us. Hosts are very welcoming and communication was excellent. No hesitation in recommending

I stayed here with my partner for two nights. Kelly and Alistair were very welcoming and ensured we were settled in. It's a beautiful studio flat. With all the essentials to hand. Very clean and modern with a fantastic shower. You can take a 17 min walk to the adjacent village of Wallingford for all amenities which also offers a beautiful riverside walk. There is plenty of natural beauty in the surrounding areas, which will keep you happily occupied if you're like us and love walking! We would definately stay again :-)

Me and my girlfriend have just got home from spending the last two days at Sarah's beautiful home. Needless to say we had the best time! As for the home it is impeccably furnished and cleaned to perfection! In terms of location, the home sits on a lovely river and on a sunny day there is nowhere better to watch the sun set. If you want to go into Oxford there is a bus that runs close to the home and only takes 20 minutes. Sarah the host went completely above and beyond for us during our stay, leaving us with some drinks in the fridge and some bits for breakfast in the morning. If youre looking for a place near Oxford to stay and you have the opportunity to stay here then I highly recommend it, we will definitely be going back!

I cannot recommend this property enough! The studio is beautifully decorated, very clean and has amazing views. Sarah and her husband have thought of everything to make your stay that much more homely, home made lemon drizzle cake on arrival, make up wipes, lovely soft towels, well equip kitchen, comfortable bed and wifi. Breakfast was delightful... fresh berries, yoghurt, muesli, bacon and eggs, freshly ground coffee & tea. The Views are to die for! If your looking for a peaceful location Sarah's property is the one to choose 10/10

Absolutely fantastic! Sarah is amazing host. If you need a place to relax and just forget about hassle of living in a big city t is a perfect place to stay. We've stayed only for one night and we were regretting that we haven't stay longer. Lodge is very well equipped, very high standard, perfectly clean. There is a rowing boat which is a perfect opportunity to relax even more. Highly recommended:)

This is a very comfortable place to stay. Gemma was very easy to communicate with and quickly sorted out a hiccup with the key. It didn't bother us too much but if road noise is an issue for you then the close proximity of the M40 might be a consideration. Less so in cooler months when windows closed. We would be very happy to stay again.

Really easy from start to finish. Beautiful premises and surroundings. Gemma was very helpful and quick to reply to any questions we had. We didn't need to but the cooking facilities were great too. A perfect very short stay, great for access to Oxford and Waterstock Golf Course.

Accommodation was lovely but the location so close to the M40 meant unacceptable traffic noise.

A lovely quiet and cosy self contained studio flat. Beautiful little village location and set in gated grounds. Perfect overnight stay!

On a eu froid (heureusement qu un feu a été préparé en fin d'après midi) ; pas de serviettes en papier pour manger (on a du utiliser le papier des wc et une serviette éponge !) , pas de boite de mouchoirs en papier (papier wc encore ...) et pas de verre à dents dans la salle de bain. Mais surtout le bruit de la fête d'anniversaire chez la propriétaire et les aboiements de son chien le samedi soir (qui nous a réveillé deux fois). Nous pensons qu il ne faut pas accueillir des voyageurs quand on sait qu ils vont être dérangés. Enfin le stationnement est mauvais et risqué : sur le côté de la route alors que la propriétaire a une grande cour où se trouvaient des véhicules !!!) Conclusion : c'était très cher pour tous ces désagréments ; et on attend la facture pour payer le supplément pour notre enfant. Les environs sont très agréables par ailleurs. A présent, on peut dire qu'il y a une différence entre les professionnels de l'hôtellerie que nous utilisons d'habitude et cette première expérience qui est décevante.

Katie is a warm and understanding host. And this is a lovely private room as pretty as it looks in the photos. The garden and surrounding countryside are beautiful. There are friendly and picturesque country pubs nearby that serve good food. It's an escape-from-it-all sort of place--I had limited mobile phone reception in the Chilterns and my phone picked up the wireless connection intermittently.

Possibly one of the most amazing B&B's we've ever stayed at. We just wish we could have enjoyed our room, gorgeous sitting room (with wood burner) and lovely bathroom for longer! Can't thank Katie and her husband enough for welcoming us into their beautiful home. It really was so much more than we expected and the perfect base for the lovely wedding we went to. Breakfast for delicious and a huge thanks to Katie's husband for very kindly taking us back to the wedding venue to pick up our car the next day. Hugely generous offer and saved us a small fortune on another taxi fare. Thank you again for a wonderful stay and we're looking forward to sampling the homemade sloe gin soon, we were just a tad too hungover on Sunday!!

Katie was a friendly and laid back host during my 3 night stay. The rooms were absolutely beautiful. The location was also excellent, convenient to the 3 places I wanted to visit but in such a picturesque rural setting that it made me feel a long way from the chaos of London! Katie made recommendations for walks and places to eat which were very much appreciated. It was the perfect end to three months travelling around Europe and had all the creature comforts I needed. Highly recommended.

We checked into Laura's place, only to end up having a late night at a friend's house and crashing there instead! Laura very sweetly came and dropped off our things at the house where we stayed the night. I would certainly consider trying her place again when I'm back in Thame!

I stayed at Laura's place mainly because it was 4 minutes drive from work, so it was very convenient. The place is located in a nice residential area and you can walk to Thame city centre in max 20 minutes. It is well described as a cosy place and the kitchen is decently equipped (for me that is important). Laura as a host is very friendly and I enjoyed talking to her even if briefly. I would definitely return.

Longway Cottage is a real gem, and is a perfect place from which to explore the Chilterns. I was working locally, and the apartment was perfectly located very close to my place of work. I also had a decent amount of free time, and had a wonderful time exploring this area of outstanding natural beauty. The apartment is quiet, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Communication with Lloyd and Nicola was smooth and professional. I met them both, and they are lovely people. Highly recommended.

Doreen and Mick were excellent hosts. The place is perfectly situated close to forests, cozy pubs and beautiful river towns of the Chilterns. The property was immaculate and literally dozens of information brochures and menus for local restaurants were available. We had a lovely stay with Doreen and Mick. They were welcoming and friendly, and the place is very lovely. It looks out over Doreen and Mick's beautiful garden, and beyond the garden are views of the hills. We were using the apartment as a base for research in the area, and appreciated Doreen's advice about travel to Oxford using the nearby Park & Ride. There's also a lovely public footpath across the road from the driveway, and we enjoyed walking and viewing the hills when we were not working. Like some other reviewers, we did find the wifi a bit temperamental--stronger at some times of the day, and in some parts of the apartment, and easier with laptops and ipads than with iphones. We suspect that this is a feature of the location rather than something in Doreen and Mick's control. On the whole, this was a lovely stay--one of our favorite places in the UK. Thank you to Doreen and Mick for making us feel so welcome.

The flat was perfect and had everything we needed. The extra touches like bread and fresh eggs we're really thoughtful and the space was very clean and comfortable.

A real Gem . The hostess goes out of her way to make you feel welcome with bread , milk and their own eggs when we arrived . Great views clean and light accommodation with beds that keep you asleep !....see you again soon
