They make really good pizza here. In the summer they have an outdoor garden/courtyard which is cool and pleasant.

On the top floor of this big department store there is a terrace restaurant with lovely views of the rooves of the city. Food is quick and delicious. The store is good for browsing too.

A magnificent view of Florence! Also a great place to leave your car (free parking) and from therre walk into Florence. Watch out, the return walk is steep but very lovely.

The Iris is the official flower of Florence. In April-May-June it is a beautiful sight to see so many of them in flower amongst the olive trees and with the backdrop of the city's prominent buildings.
