Located in the heart of Taipei city, Taiwan, Huashan Creative Arts Park was built in 1914. As one of the oldest and most well preserved structures in Taiwan, Huashan Creative Arts Park was once Taiwan’s largest wine producing factory during the 1920’s. After relocation of the wine factory in the late 1980’s, the factory was abandoned for almost a decade before the government started to make changes on land authorities and plans to rebuild the area. It all started by a group of artists and performers stumbled into the abandoned factory and started staging plays, restoring a small section of the abandoned halls. https://www.travelking.com.tw/eng/tourguide/scenery102486.html

The building of the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), Taipei was completed and inaugurated in 1921. Originally, the building was "Kensei Shogakko," or Jian Cheng Elementary School, for educating Japanese children during the Japanese ruled period. In 1996, the former Taipei City Government building was designated as a Municipal Heritage Site; and based on the policy of reusing historic building, the front of the building was renovated into MOCA, Taipei whereas the two lateral buildings were assigned as the classrooms of Jian Cheng Junior High School. The combination of MOCA, Taipei and Jian Cheng Junior High School not only became the foremost example of having a museum and a school share one building, the site was also taken as an extension of the cultural-historical axis from Taipei Confucius Temple to Dalongdong Baoan Temple. http://www.mocataipei.org.tw/index.php

The National Palace Museum (NPM) houses a collection of ancient Chinese artifacts, some of which came from The Palace Museum and the preparatory department of the Nanjing Museum (previously the "National Central Museum"); those that came from The Palace Museum originated from the Qing Court, and those that came from the preparatory department of the Nanjing Museum primarily originated from the Institute for Exhibiting Antiquities, which was previously owned by the Jehol and Shenyang temporary palaces. This signifies that the NPM's current artifact collection contains Qing court artifacts from The Palace Museum, the Jehol temporary palace, and the Shenyang temporary palace. https://www.npm.gov.tw/en/ Current Exhibits: https://www.npm.gov.tw/en/Article.aspx?sNo=04007402
