Excellent food, but can be very difficult to get a reservation. There are walk-in spots each night at the community table. Be sure to arrive early (doors open at 6pm, but line starts forming by 5:30pm).

It has an incredible view of downtown San Francisco from the chairs on the second floor. Settle down with a good book or newspaper and relax. They also have a great children's section for the little ones.

The newly reopened SFMOMA is absolutely incredible, from the architecture of the new space, to the art and sculptures inside. A must see!

A great playground and grassy lawn with incredible views of San Francisco. If you're traveling with kids, this is a must. When leaving the park, travel down Vermont Street, which is actually the crookedest street in San Francisco (not Lombard as most people think).
