It's worth the drive to Arundel. Have a kiddo who loves dinosaurs? The giant moving, roaring dinosaurs will have your kids screaming with joy...or fear? They have a lot to see while golfing, and they have an ice cream hut for a special treat.

Our neighbor owns this beauty of a course! So I have to recommend it. (He lives in the house to the right of us, if you're facing the ocean.)

It's part water park, part amusement park and it's a full day of fun for the kids. It's a little bit of a drive North, but very easy to access and totally worth it if your kids are sick of the beach.

Great fun for the kids. It's a drive North, but lots of space, greenery and you can bring your own cooler and food and there are picnic tables everywhere and lounge chairs. The giant wave pool is fun for everyone and there are tons of lifeguards everywhere. Giant (terrifying) slides and the legendary "Stealth" slide (we locals call it the taco). They have a snack bar and bring your own water balloons for the slingshot area.

Great for a rainy day. It's about 40 mins. North to Portland, but it's a brand new museum and very fun, interactive, and educational. Afterward, you can hit the local brewery (Bissell Brothers) which is also in Thompson's Point. If you go in the summertime and on a Thursday evening there are food trucks everywhere!

Walking trails in woods and nature. I've never been myself, but it looks like they are well marked and loop trails are always nice.
