You can easily walk round this area and get lost in time. Usually it is an area not visited by the city’s visitors who stay by the waterfront and shopping centre, but they are truly missing out on the sights of the Grade II listed buildings. It is also the heart of historical landmarks such as the 2 cathedrals the city has to offer.

Fastest way to get around the city

You can download an app called ‘Voi’ which enables you to find available scooters in the area which you are able to use. This is a good way to get around the city and to avoid buses and taxis. However, in the city it can easily be done on foot if you are not time limited. It’s a pleasure to walk through the vibrant city centre!
