We have bicycles in our garage you can use if you want to bike around the neighborhood. It is flat terrain & there is a fantastic paved trail through the Superior Forest about 3 blocks from our BnB called The Millennium Trail.

Arts & Culture
Glensheen Mansion is about 20 minutes from our place. It has flashlight tours at night which are exciting because a murder did take place there. It is a great place to visit during the day also.

Fairlawn Mansion Museum is in Superior & about 10 minutes away. It has a very good native american display as well as other artifacts.

Miller Hill Mall has many great stores. It is about 15 minutes from our place. Closer shopping is CVS or Walgreens (each a mile away), Walmart(2 miles away) or the Mariner Mall in Superior which has a Younkers department store & smaller specialty stores(also about 2 miles away).

Super One grocery store is about 1 mile away from out place. It has a great deli and good prices on all items you may need although a light breakfast is provided at our place daily. There is a fridge in the Suite for any extras you pick up & a microwave for simple cooking.

Entertainment & Activities
This is a very safe area about 15 minutes from our BnB for sightseeing. There is a wonderful lakewalk along Lake Superior, a free Maritime Museum, a lighthouse & pier where the foreign ships enter the harbor from around the world, great restaurants, an amusement center for kids called Adventure Zone, & a place to catch a sightseeing boat to tour the harbor. The waves come to shore and you can skip rocks or sit & enjoy the view or people watch!

Canal Park Drive
Canal Park DriveThis is a very safe area about 15 minutes from our BnB for sightseeing. There is a wonderful lakewalk along Lake Superior, a free Maritime Museum, a lighthouse & pier where the foreign ships enter the harbor from around the world, great restaurants, an amusement center for kids called Adventure Zone, & a place to catch a sightseeing boat to tour the harbor. The waves come to shore and you can skip rocks or sit & enjoy the view or people watch!
Getting Around
Rental cars are available at the airport which is about 15 minutes from our place. The public bus picks up & drops off about 4 blocks from our BnB.

Sightseeing
Fantastic hiking at Gooseberry because during the Ice Age the glaciers formed beautiful rock formations here at this State park. I believe there is free parking. There are great waterfalls to see & to sit on the rocks to have a picnic lunch.

Pattison Park is about 30 minutes from our place. It has the states largest waterfall, hiking trails, swimming beach, playground equipment, picnic tables and grills that can be used to barbecue.
