Soller is a beautiful town in the mountains. Either drive to it from Port D'Andratx, or go to Palma and get the old train which is very popular and has amazing views. You can then enjoy the shops and restaurants of Soller, or get the tram to Port Soller.

The Puig de Galatz贸 is the biggest mountain in South West Mallorca. You can park at the car park at Finca P煤blica Galatz贸 and explore the Finca, a fascinating traditional Mallorcan manor house which is free to look around. It has gardens (complete with tortoise enclosure) and traditional olive oil making equipment with signs in multiple languages.
There are lots of walks of different levels of difficulty which you can do directly from the Finca. Collect a brochure from the Finca.

You can walk along the coast from Cala Fornells (in the Port D'Andratx direction) to the secluded bay of Cal贸 des Monjo. It's worth looking up a walking route online as the prettiest way to get there is in front of the hotel and through the woods, rather than on the direct and easier path inland.
