There are walks on our doorstep as the forest stretches in front of us but there are various areas such as Cannop Ponds, Symmonds Yat and Offas Dyke a short drive away... all with different views and walks in the countryside.

Natural heavily mossed and lychen rock formations and ancient trees.. only suitable for people with reasonable mobility as there is a small amount of climbing.. some of the Star Wars scenes and Robin Hood was filmed there. Small farm and cafe.

Old Ruined Monastery set on the banks of the River Wye. It nestles in a valley and has a unique atmostphere and a cafe and pub where you can eat nearby. Also a fabulous walk and view from the 'Devil's Pulpit' if you can manage the climb!
