With it’s beautiful views St Peter’s Church in Tawstock dates back to the 14th century. Take a look inside and you’ll see the impressive ceiling with its Italian plaster work, medieval glass windows and intricate carved benches. St Peter’s Church is also home to several fine monuments and tombs. Next to the thatched primary school you’ll find ‘Holy Well’ one of the largest Holy Wells in the country. It was first recorded in the 14th Century it is grade 2 listed and was restored in 1938.
