Sightseeing
Great for hikes/walks. Beautiful scenery. If you make your way to the top lake (just keep driving up the hill until you get to the lake pictured) there are railway sleepers running around the lake that are easy to walk on but not suitable for a buggy. You can also go off road and make your way up the mountain.

Banna is a great beach for long walks, swimming and surfing. You can rent surf boards during the summer at the beach.
From a historical view Banna beach played a role in the Easter rising.

You can park in Cronins Yard Car park. It's pay and display but there are toilets and a little cafe on site. Check out Cronnins Yard Website for a couple of easier hikes with the same starting point.

A lovely, challenging hike with great views.

A great beach for walking, swimming, kayaking around the caves and along the coast. Ballybunion has a few boutiques and plenty of restaurants. For those who'd rather a picnic there's a Supervalue in the middle of the town.

A great beach for walking, swimming, kayaking around the caves and along the coast. Ballybunion has a few boutiques and plenty of restaurants. For those who'd rather a picnic there's a Supervalue in the middle of the town.

It can be approached from the east, Faha Grotto side, close to Cloghane or the easier medieval Pilgrams path (otherwise knows as the Saint Route) on the Dingle side. There is a small free car park at Ballybrack.

Brandon Mountain
This is another great hike and also challenging, but again well worth it at the top.
It can be approached from the east, Faha Grotto side, close to Cloghane or the easier medieval Pilgrams path (otherwise knows as the Saint Route) on the Dingle side. There is a small free car park at Ballybrack.
Really worth checking out if you fancy braving the Atlantic 🌊 Great fun!
