A recently renovated lower level has a more causal lake-side scene, while the upstairs recently got a menu facelift. The food is excellent if you're looking for a nice meal with a view. If you're feeling frisky, try their signature drink, the Zombie (a rum drink that will put you in the mood! But be careful - a few of those may turn you into a zombie, yourself!)

But be careful - a few of those may turn you into a zombie, yourself!)
This place has great live music on the weekends. The bartenders are friendly and the food is tasty. Also is just a short walk/drive from the cottage!

Don't let the outside of this restaurant fool you, the food is delicious (a little old fashioned and on the pricey side though - I think men have to wear a collared shirt)
Also it's probably best if you make a reservation because they're typically full up on Fridays and Saturdays unless you want a late dinner.

Meadville, PA is about a 15-20 minute drive from Conneaut Lake and is home to VooDoo Brewery, a few other restaurants and some shopping if Conneaut Lake isn't as bustling as you had hoped (Meadville isn't bustling either, but it's definitely bigger than Conneaut Lake)

The historic (and haunted) Hotel Conneaut is steps away from our listing. The Hotel has a small restaurant/bar inside and hosts many events throughout the year. Google them and check their calendar! If you come on the right weekend, you just might be able to see a ghost in a window on your nightly stroll.
