Szimpla has been holding this colourful farmers market since 2012; you will love shopping (& eating) there. Fresh and tasty shopping in a nice atmosphere (live music included!) perfectly suitable for kids too!
Not only do you get delicacies you wouldn’t otherwise (great cheese, excellent kolbász and szalonna, all sorts of syrups, honey, jams…) but you can try all those produces on the spot and chat with the producers (English spoken).
Though Szimpla market is mostly about homemade cottage industry products, you can also buy some veggies, fruits and eggs.
You can eat there too, they cook great donation-based meals: the money goes to a new cause every week.
This is the place where you can combine drinking with shopping at one of the very few food markets open on Sundays in Budapest!
