Just about a 5 minute drive away from the Old Opera House Loft, La Poussière is one of the last remaining traditional Cajun dancehalls. "La Poussière" means, "The Dust," and refers to the practice of putting sawdust on the floor of dancehalls to make them smooth for dancing. Live music every Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.
