Public transport tickets can be purchased from the purple "BKK" machines-you will
find it at most bus or tram stops.

Bring some comfortable shoes to walk around :)
Budapest is a real big city (don't underestimate the distances), therefore I recommend you to wear comfortable shoes if you plan to visit the city. You can easily end up walking 10kms a day when you want to visit everything :D
